We had an excellent dinner while on vacation. Family friendly, large portions and quick service made this restaurant a winner!

Nothing special. Nice outdoor seating area if not too hot. Have made some improvements since other Mexican restaurant in town closed. Plenty of parking. Easy to find.

This restaurant was very friendly and accommodating. I won't say that it was the best/fanciest Mexican food I ever ate, but it was very good--the sort of food that you'd have with a Mexican family whose mom is a good cook. Service was excellent, prices VERY reasonable, and very clean dining area.

The food was good and not overpriced The margaritas contained little to no tequila All the flies buzzing around inside didn't bother me as much as my wife.

We got the jumbo house margaritas... while large, they were definitely lacking in tequila. Got the Texas fajitas (chicken, steak and shrimp) and there didn't seem to be much (to any) seasoning on the meat. Fine for when you wrapped it with the other stuff in the tortillas but not to eat on it's own. Very bland. My toppings plate... More

I've eaten three times at Rancho Viejo with our group of friends, and each time I've come away feeling that this restaurant is mediocre at best. Our last visit was something of a comedy of errors, though. Our group of 9 (5 adults, 4 kids) was immediately seated outside on the pleasant patio and we placed our drink orders. Our... More

Our food bellies thank Rancho Viejo for giving us the best meal before we leave Luray! We went around 9 pm and it was a little busy but quick to be seated. The restaurant could use updating in decor, booths that were rundown....the food and drinks though....MUAH! Margaritas were delicious... I have a hard time finding restaurant salsa that I... More

Nothing special, but it was good enough to go back. Strange white sauce served with chips though. Nice seating area outside, but we kept getting faint whiffs of garbage,

I went to this restaurant on a Saturday night while visiting Shenandoah National Park during National Park Week. The wait was about 20 minutes for a booth for 2. We had to wait over 40 minutes for our food because a table of 15 was being waited on before us. Once our food arrived it was basic Mexican food (nothing... More

Mango margarita was delicious, salsa has cilantro, my favorite. White sauce not the best, steak fajitas wonderful. Excellent service as well.
