If it is sweet and tasty you will find it here. Again, in a small town it's amazing to find such a complete candy (and ice cream) shop. Be sure to load up for the long ride home.

The Ice Cream was homemade, lots of flavors to chose from, the price was good for it being homemade. The Chocolate candy, was okay but was very pricey for what you are getting, around $3.50 for one piece. The gift shop was unique, lots of specialty items, and well stocked.

Only stopped for an ice cream but a double ended up taking the place of dinner that evening. We were too full after eating it.

Such a cute little shop filled with delightful chocolates and vintage candies. We had the taffy and chocolate rocks...so good! Wish we could have stayed for ice cream.

Our first stop was disappointing. Right before 6:00 with the open sign still on, the guys behind the counter briskly told us they were closed before we even got the door open. Jus remember to turn the sign off when you start to close the shop down for the night so kids aren't disappointed. The next morning on our way... More

When it's 105 degrees, you have to have ice cream. This stuff was delicious. The woman working was super friendly. She gave us a few free samples before we ordered. I got a cup with the wild blackberry and the turtle. Both were stellar! Apparently the wild blackberry had just been made that morning!! There were huge chunks of fresh... More

They make all their chocolate candy on-site and have an amaziing variety of chocolate candies and fudge. It took us about 30 minutes to decide what we wanted. I would have preferred the whole showcase.

Stopped by this evening after spending the day in Kings Canyon. They close at 6 pm so we opted to grab ice cream to go and eat it after our dinner. Waited 15 minutes for someone to serve us and we bailed! There were two girls working, one in the candy shop and one behind the scenes in the ice... More

Something sweet is always happening at this fine establishment. Ice cream that you won't find back home, a friendly staff in an atmosphere that would be hard to duplicate. It's one of the "must do' things when you're up in the Sequoias.

My husband's great-Aunt and Uncle owned this establishment when it was known as Huffaker's Candies so there's always a bit of nostalgia when we go here. I love their truffles but am hooked on the chocolate covered apricots! Such a beautiful gift shop but they're a little pricey. There's a quaint outdoor patio right outside of the gift shop and...
