Good, affordable food. Great service. Happy to support a small mom & pop shop. It's a small restaurant and their brunch menu is the best.

The Mixing Bowl has become my favorite place to eat in the area. Green Chili Biscuits and Gravy with over medium eggs and crispy hash browns was amazing. I did not expect the green chili to be so present while keeping the integrity of biscuits...More

This is a small breakfast/lunch restaurant. The specials are what sets this apart from the rest. Thursday is cabbage burgers (Runza like) and butterball soup. You will want to try these, especially if you have any German/Russian heritage.

Great food, great service. Vegetarian friendly in the middle of beef country. Everything we had was wonderful and fresh made. Will definitely stop again next time we are out that way, so tasty!

Reminded me of growing up. Small with home town flare and flavor. Worth experiencing a simple way of life. Food was a good verity and personal touch as well.

Based on recommendations from the locals, we visited this restaurant for lunch. During the week they have a regular menu, but we were here on a Saturday and they have a weekend brunch menu. We both had a rancheros burrito which had chorizo, eggs, chicken,...More

Usually a cafe is judged by its food, but here it's all about the people too! Staff was super-friendly, as were the customers. First names were used, so you could tell who was a "regular" vs. ourselves who were visiting. But we were made to...More
