I was racing down I-95 from Wells Maine to make an earlier flight out of Boston this afternoon. I realized I wouldn't have time for lunch if I made the flight so pulled into Kelly's for a quick roast beef sandwich or on the fly. Always a great sandwich with the bun toasted just right especially if you are a... More

MMM a clam chowder of excellence. No flour base. Milk, cream, loads of tender clams and potatoes. It is so full that sometimes I have to ask them for less of the heavy stuff(as I call it).

Always return to Kelly's when in the area. Fried clams are not quite as good as those sold in Essex Ma., but saves one a drive and a wait. lobster roll was very good as was the roast beef sandwich my son ordered. Quick service and decent prices make Kelly's worth the visit.

Kelly's is always a stop for us when visiting the Boston area. Had lunch here recently; the food was really only average. Two of us had the clam plate which was OK but not worth the almost $25 price. What actually turned us off the most was the condition of the ladies restroom. Besides needing some attention for the overflowing... More

We went to Ipswich in search of fried clams! A few of the listings we had the lines were to long! Too hot to stand in line outside! I'm sure they would of been worth it but we didn't stay to find out! We were heading home & giving up on the idea when we thought of Kelly's Roast Beef... More

A great standby for roast beef, fried clams and lobster rolls. Good honest fare that doesn't break the bank. Serving the same consistent quality for decades.

Found near Route 1 in Saugus, Kelly's offers a variety of quick meals either to eat in or to go. I chose to eat in. Service at the window was relatively easy and the food was brought to you via a number system. I ordered the small roast beef combo that came with fries and a drink. I had their... More

I come for the lobster roll. Expensive, but delicious. You order at the counter but the food is brought to your table. Roomy seating and ample parking. If you are in the area, be sure to come

Kelly's is over priced and the food has no seasoning. I will not go back!!! It is fast food and not good!

If you find yourself on Route One headed toward Boston and you want a fast, tasty lunch at a place with a relatively varied menu, you simply can't go wrong here. I have eaten two lunches here, and I find absolutely no reason to tell you not to eat at Kelly's Roast Beef.
