The food here is very good. The place can us a make over though. They have been there for many years. You always get good food and good service here.

visited 8/14/16 I guess you can't trust all reviews and especially those that come from the Phantom Gourmet restaurant critic TV Show that airs in New England. After many years of driving by and listening to other diners rave about Kowloon's restaurant in Saugus, MA. I made plans to take my family to this suppose New England "Institution". Whatever Phantom... More

The Chinese food here is fantastic. I highly suggest ordering the pupu platter. The pupu platter is quite the spectacle with flames rising up in the middle of it. Also the Peking raviolis here are very moist, soft but not too soft. I also enjoy the chicken fingers, scallion pancakes, ribs, chicken teriyaki on a stick, egg rolls and their... More

Have been too many times to count. Great food, kids love the "pond" with fountains and being able to through coins for wishes. Great family time for all occasions.

This is probably one of my favorite places to eat. The service is always at lightning speed and their portions are larger than most places I've eaten in.

We hadn't been to Kowloon in a very long time and were pleasantly surprised to find a new menu. The food was delicious. The boneless ribs were big, tender and most flavorful. the dining room could use some upgrades but we're sure glad they started with the food. We actually went back within a month had the same outstanding server,... More

We went on a Saturday night at a very busy time and only had to wait 20 minutes or so. We were waited on rather quickly and it seemed the food got there in under 15 minutes. The food was very tasty and the quantity is good. The menu is pretty big. I do wish they had served combo plates... More

Long standing institutions should also be good, not just kitschy. I don't get the draw but I also didn't grow up with it. Kowloon is from a bygone era and one that should possibly just be gone. Luckily, I have no memory of happy times being here at eight years old that I think skews others from really delving deeply... More

This place does a booming business, it's a local tourist trap. The drinks are weak and way overpriced. The food is never good-usually comes out immediately which means it's not cooked to order.
