Luckily the place wasn't too busy when we arrived so we were seated right away. We ordered a 4 course meal and an additional entree which started first with the cheese fondue. It was really good and I like how they give you different items to dip. Second course was salad and I got the Caesar salad which was not... More

The family (4 adults) took me to The Melting Pot (for the first time) for my birthday. First impression... expensive for what it was. We decided to order only three courses (cheese fondue, salad and dessert), because including the meat course would have been just a whole lot of food! We ordered the Classic Alpine fondue, which included aged gruyere,... More

Upon arrival we ordered drinks as our tabletop burners warmed up, but the burners were unreliable so we were moved to another table. Once resettled, a burner almost failed to heat properly again but kicked in at the last minute. (By the way, if you order drinks, the berry mojito is far better than the Southern Tea.) There were six... More

Went as a party of eight with reservation for 7pm on a Saturday. Menu was confusing and had to have waiter who was nice explain the process a couple times. Cheese fondue starter was nothing special. Cheese was bland. Bread and dipping items either too big or not fresh. Salads not too bad. Main course was weird. Par broil meat... More

We went here hoping for an authentic fondue experience. The cheese was of low quality and so were the other food items.

Food was very good but we found the portions were too small (2 people need to order a fondue for 3). The front desk hostesses were very professional and polite but the waiters too laid back and lacking in the same professionalism. We also felt a bit "crowded", in the sense that the restaurant is divided into rooms with about... More

Went for dinner last minute and thought we would give it a try. We had reservations and got there maybe 15 minutes early and went to the bar for a drink. The Bartender was fantastic, great service and made really good cocktails! After waiting for about 45 minutes we were seated, the restaurant couldn't have been more than half full,... More

My favorite birthday dinner remains the Melting Pot in Thousand OAks, CA. They have good wine, great service and a fabulous dining experience. Thanks for another great birthday dinner - the gift you sent home with me was yummy too!

My fiance and I came here for dinner after I proposed to her earlier in the day. So it was a kind of celebration dinner. I called a couple weeks prior to book their Ultimate Romance Package, which comes with 4 courses, Rose petals on your table, Champange, Roses, comemerotive flutes a picture, and a secluded booth...kind of. Our server... More
