I wanted a local favorite and visited two days in a row. Fell in love with the pink sauce. Enjoyed the complimentary garlic bread w/red sauce served fresh and hot. Service was extremely fast and very attentive.

My nephew and his Italian wife came from Long Island to visit us in Santa Fe. Some of the best Italian restaurants in the country are in New York, so I was understandably wary of taking them for Italian here in Santa Fe. But that's what they wanted, so I took them to Piccolinos. Their reaction - as good as... More

Small unassuming place with excellent dishes. Olga, the owner discusses the dishes with you and offers off menu suggestions.

This is a neighborhood red sauce Italian restaurant. Good basic Italian food. Friendly service. Not much on atmosphere. Good eggplant, sandwiches, etc. Much better than a pizza joint but not gourmet. We go several times when we visit Santa Fe. The place gets crowded so there is sometimes a wait. Off the tourist track but worth the trip if you... More

This local favorite is not on the beaten path but it is worth searching out. There were seven of us for lunch and we all made good choices. I had the best eggplant parmigiana I have had in a long time. The pizza looked good. They were very busy for lunch but handled the crowd well.

Piccolino isn't located on the Plaza. You can't walk to it from the Plaza. Won't find it featured in colored boxes in guidebooks. Not likely to be recommended by the concierge of your downtown hotel. Nobody raves about its classic architecture or funky ambience. Tourists hardly ever find their way there. Nothing to write home about. Except the food. Which... More

Read reviews and decided to try this restaurant. Got there about 5:30 and place was starting to fill up. Was promptly waited on and brought garlic roll bites and marinara sauce. I ordered Primavera (veggies on noodles in red sauce) and hubby got sausage and peppers over spaghetti in Red sauce. Food was delivered quickly and piping hot. Tasty Italian... More

We had a nice dinner and a few meals after! This small restaurant was very busy on the night we visited, and I can see why. There may great sounding salads, but we chose to split the chopped antipasto, which was filled with many great treats like prosciutto, artichokes, olives, zucchini, tomatoes and garbanzos. It was huge (plenty for us... More

Just minutes off Cerrillos Road, this is a friendly locals' spot. Service is quick and pleasant, and prices very reasonable. We ordered Spaghetti Carbonara and Branzini fish, both good. The fish came with al dente veggies-a treat! The goat cheese and red and yellow beet salad was good, just didn't need all the greens. We will visit again.
