When we first visited Horseman's Haven Cafe, we were on the lookout for the spiciest chile in town. And we found it! We've been regular visitors ever since. While we don't dine here every time we go to Santa Fe (there's so many great restaurants,...More

Small menu of authentic Mexican food. We were the only tourists in the place. Got the triple d burrito with chicken and both chiles, it was amazing highly recommend.

For years I thought of HH and recommended it as the perfect hangover food. Recently I have found the quality is wavering. Yes, the chile is still not to be taken lightly but it isn't really covering up how the rest of the food is...More

We've been told that the Horseman's Haven has the best chilli in town. There are a lot of great places for chilli but I agree that this one makes the list. I liked how mild the red chilli that was served on the side with...More

Went there for the second time for breakfast last week and was quite disappointed. Here are the main reasons: 1) scrambled eggs were very overlooked and thus very tough. 2) potatoes lacked taste and were thrown on the plate making the whole dish (traditional breakfast)...More

Searched for Mexican restaurants when we got into town and this one popped up. It was right in front of the Hyatt Place we chose to stay for the night. We had lunch and it was amazing. The tortillas and Spanish rice was to die...More

Stopped in for a late lunch, and seated ourselves. Ambiance was rather lacking, and the decor seemed thrown together. Servers were pretty quick with drinks, and getting our orders. Food came fairly quickly, and was quite good, and in large quantities. After our food was...More
