We were flying our small plane privately cross country and stopped in Santa Fee for fuel and lunch. My friend used to come spend summer here as a kid and he kept raving about having to get some Hatch Chile. We were directed here by the local airport FBO when we asked where we could get some food with Hatch... More

I've heard of the Horseman's Haven ever since I moved to Santa Fe - especially for their 'famous' green chile. Well, you certainly won't find hotter chile anywhere else in Santa Fe. For lunch I had the roast beef burrito smothered with cheese and green chile. The dish is served with posole and Spanish rice. Honestly, I'm no ready for... More

We stopped here for dinner, because it was near our hotel and ratings were good. It's a simple cafe that serves large portions. The food was a bit heavy for my taste....pole sole and blue corn tortillas were new to me. Red and green salsa were included and both were delicious.

One of the best breakfasts in Santa Fe. I bit of a drive from the Plaza but so worth it. Green sauce is exceptional but Christmas is good, too.

stopped in on a Thursday night w family to see whether the food was just as good as it was over a decade ago. exactly what we were hoping the posole, enchiladas, green chili and beans were really great. super nice sopapillas and honey, just what we needed after a day out hiking. very friendly and helpful staff were attentive... I love this place. I've been a few times and it is always on point. The chili is hot and delicious. The blue corn tortillas are so. darn. blue. Everything is excellent.

This place is outstanding. I had the 3D burrito. Not one thing on my plate had that generic Mexican restaurant taste. And the green chili sauce was just heaven. Hot, but not too hot to eat. Serve is very good too. If you're in Santa Fe, go there.

I'm so glad we stopped at this local spot in Santa Fe. There were all locals inside eating lunch. Coming from California, I have had my share of Mexican food. This was so different as the enchilada is covered in sauce. So good! The fried bread dipped in honey was sooo good. It was an indulgence but worth it. Very... More

Pissoli. Not sure of spelling but it is a super dish! Went because of Parts Unknown and Anthony Bourdain and so glad we did. The red chili is great but the green chili is top three Santa Fe. One of three places we go to every time in Santa Fe.

My wife and I had dinner at Horseman's. The people were all nice enough, everything was clean, the food was good but not quite as good as the many other restaurants in the area. Somehow it all came together in an uncomfortable way. My wife felt it even more than me. We wanted to get out of there as quickly... More
