Tried this restaurant out because of previous reviews; was not disappointed. Price point was good for Santa Fe, Both of us enjoyed our dinners and margaritas; so much so that the next evening we decided to go back again! I tried their rib plate this time just for something different from the usual tacos or enchiladas. The meat was so... More

This was our first visit here after having driven by it for a few years. I had the BBQ ribs and hubby had the steak and shrimp. Both were very good -- the ribs were meaty, tender, and very flavorful. The steak and shrimp were also very good. The steak was not thick, but with excellent flavor. We enjoyed all... More

Very close to where we were staying and it looked good so let's give it a try. We were delighted by the welcome, the service and the food was just so tasty, it was wonderful.

The manager of the house we rented had left a list of recommended restaurants and this was one. We just did not have a good experience. Margaritas were bland. Salsa was the highlight. We had a variety of dishes (fajitas, burritos, chile rellenos, enchiladas) and none were really good. We drove by this place many times and generally there were... More

We originally had planned on going to Tomasita's, but it was Labour Day Weekend and the place had a 45 minute wait. Remembering our good experiences looking for dining outside of the area, we headed down Cerrillos and found this little gem. It was busy, but we were seated reasonably fast. They serve you chips with 3 kinds of salsas.... More

This is authentic Mexican food. I know, because I have lived in Mexico for 10 years. The molcajete al pastor is sublime. There is a place in Loreto that makes tacos al pastor that are the best I have ever had--this is their equal. Enough with the Tex-Mex--go here.

This place always hits the spot, I don't care how the menus look im here for the food! The corn tortillas are always hand made, and the food is served sizzling. Try the birria!

In a city known for its Southwestern food, Los Potrillos stands out. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, almost family like. The menu is large, and the price is right. The food is wonderful and the portions are good. Try the Posole!

Santa Fe is about the tourists — especially the old city huddled around its charming cathedral basilica. At peak tourist season, it can be well-nigh impossible to get a table without a reservation at any of the many good restaurants in the old part of the city, and well-nigh impossible to get a reservation, period. If you have access to... More

The only reason we ate here was that the traffic was so backed up on Cerrillos because of the construction that we decided to eat lunch. That was a great decision! Very friendly staff, quaint sitting area, nice murals on the walls, and most important, real Mexican food, not New Mexican food. Lots of seafood dishes that looked delicious and... More
