Chocolate Maven has always made the best muffins in Santa Fe. They are sold in most coffee shops in town. Visiting their location is nice, but they never seem to have a good selection of flavors in their own shop - they send them all out to others.

This is another favorite restaurant in Santa Fe. We just took friends from India there. They didn't believe me when I described the place. You can sit and eat while watching the bakers creating treats. I highly recommend anything chocolate, if you are a chocoholic like I am😍

From the excellent coffee, to the lovely hot tea service and the entrees, it is a wonderful stop in Santa Fe. I met friends for breakfast. We had the burrito, cooked to perfection, served with black beans and the pancakes that were fluffy and delicious. Fun to share so we had both sweet and savory. The green chile sauce was... More

When if I hadn't been hungry, the smell of fresh baked goods would have triggered my appetite. While walking to the table, I was teased by the cookies, cakes, pies and pastries. The menu is modern and varied, with option for carnivores, vegetarians, and has gluten-free choices too. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, The Chocolate Maven is a new... More

We were seated by a window looking into the bakery and were delighted to watch the gentleman work the dough to make Danish rolls. An order of French toast was unlike any we had seen. It was a confection to be admired and enjoyed to the last morsel. The service was great. We stopped on our way out to take... More

We stopped in between errands for a dessert, an iced tea and a coffee. The tea was good although we weren't offered refills. The coffee was rated very good and you could go to a counter to do your own refills. Our self-proclaimed chocoholic (from homemade goods to bakery items) had the mini chocolate cake with ganache frosting. I won't... More

Great for cup of tea and a slice of gourmet dessert. Also great for taking out a quality dessert for a gathering.

What a surprise to find in an industrial area. It is a working bakery with views into the kitchen which is entertaining and fun to watch. The café has wonderful creative food and very service. They take reservations! You must stop on the way out and buy anything in the bakery. It will not disappoint.

We could not have asked for a better lunch stop on our last day in Santa Fe. All the food was fresh and delicious with the added bonus of watching the bakers create new and delicious (we sampled several) baked goods. They had an excellent menu and pleasant environment.
