Went for lunch on a weekday. Very nice outdoor seating area. The chili riellno was sub-par. The red chili did not have much taste and the stuffed pepper was not really prepared very well. Service was poor - had to wait a long time to have our order taken and to pay the bill, difficult to get water and drink... More

We have been to Santa Fe no less than 30 times and I am sincerely angry at my GPS for not taking us to Gabriel's prior to today. That GPS has taken me down dead end streets, to the middle of no where and announced "you have arrived at your destination" but somehow a truly great restaurant has alluded that... More

Delicious Mexican food, in addition to guacamole prepared table side. Prices were reasonable, portions were good sized and the drinks were good also. Would highly recommend if staying anywhere near the area.

We always come back and it's the go to place to take visitors. Great patio for outdoor dining, and cozy indoor dining rooms when it's too hot or too cold. Service can be a little spotty though. Food top notch. Always start with the table side guacamole and a margarita. The also have an excellent vegetarian options to their menu.... More

I'm a long time local and ended up here with my husband on a Friday night- he had never been. We bypassed the 40 minute wait by sitting in the lounge. In the future, I need to remember to make a reservation for the patio. The food is excellent- I strongly recommend the fajitas( seafood if that is your thing)... More

The serve here was incredible - fast and attentive. The ribs fell off the bone and were the most delicious, tender ribs I have eaten in quite a while. Drinks and food served quickly. This, however, was the first Mexican restaurant I have eaten at in New Mexico where they charge you extra for the sopapillas after the meal -... More

We have eaten at Gabriel's in the past and have given it very high scores. This time, the food was equally good but the service was poor. The waiter seemed to not care whether we were done or not and then quickly gave us the bill so we could move on. This was the only disappointing aspect of the restaurant... More

We eat at Gabriel's every time we are in Santa Fe. The atmosphere is lovely, and the food is very good. Be sure to get the guacamole made at your table. YUM! During the summer, dinner reservations are a MUST! A perfect spot to dine before going to the opera.

Gabriel's food is always fresh and delicious. Their salsa is spicy and has just the right amount of heat. The chips and homemade tortillas are some of the best we've ever eaten. The Taos Combination is wonderful with ranchero beans cooked perfectly; not too soft and not too hard. We had beef in both our blue corn taco and blue... More
