I was expecting a great meal and got typical Tex-mex instead. The table side guacamole was awesome, but the entrees were just average. They pride themselves in their tamales but I was not impressed. Average.

All though it's low season. Gonzalo was good to me. He is very prompt and professional. Great attitude with his work ethics. I had the single enchilada with sopapilla. He suggest and smile made me feel comfortable at the bar. I will be back

The atmosphere was great! The good was extremely good! The restaurant was recommended to us by a co-worker and we were definitely happy we took the advice! We will be recommending Gabriel's!

October 22, 2016 - After checking into our hotel, we drove a short distance to Gabriel's as recommended by the hotel desk clerk. We parked at the back of Gabriels and walked through a short hall to the door and entered. On our left were tables for sitting outside but it was too cool to sit outside tonight. So, we... More

If you want a sunset come here. If you want good NM food go most any place else. What NM restaurant offers chile rellenos made with poblano chiles. Ugh. Chicos were crunchy and beans tasteless. Much better options just down the road

Lttle bar and grill off the beaten path with beautiful surroundings and great patio. Salsa and chips and enchladas were top notch.

We have eaten many times at Gabriel's always expecting really good food as we have been told but it is always average - nothing jumps out as 'must have'....hold it - the mad-at-you-table guacamole is excellent and the margaritas are o.k. (there are better margaritas in other places but that's for a later review).

Gabriel's always tops our top tier of must-do restaurants in Santa Fe. I cannot stress enough how wonderfully flavorful any entree you order will be. The tortillas are hand made on site. You can watch them being made during dinner hour. The table-side Guacamole is so good. Leave out or add more Jalapeno according to your taste...they will ask you... More

We headed to Gabriel's after hiking Kasha Katuwe/Tent Rocks National Monument, and were welcomed at the door and immediately shown to our table. Nobody batted an eye at our "I've been outdoors all day" appearance that included hiking attire (complete with dusty boots), wildly wind-blown hair, and sunburned faces. Service was efficient and unobtrusive, and the food was some of... More

It was a bit tricky place for me but I visited this place twice in a row. Staring from homemade chips and dip, then my chicken fajita with corn tortilla. So delicious.
