No one comes to New Mexico without coming to Santa Fe, and if you want to step away from the over-populated town square, find your way to Cowgirl … where you'll also discover an entirely different side of town that has much to offer. The food is fresh and delicious, with a menu that's varied. At night the main room... More

Cowgirl is one of the famous restaurants we have seen on the Food Network. We were excited to eat here but we were disappointed with the barbecue, which was mostly tough and bland. My green chile burger was nothing special either. What was great was their baked potato ice cream, a definite must try! It is really made of potato,... More

The butternut squash casserole is to die for. The specials are unique and tasty. And the beers! Wow! Not to mention fabulous entertainment.

Our really good 'blue plate special' lunch (1/2 BBQ chicken w/potato salad, slaw & beans) was great value at $7.00. The setting (indoor/outdoor choices; we used both 'cause a welcome rainstorm drove us inside) resembles an old-time cow-town bar, complete w/'stetsoned' servers in cowboy/girl boots & shirts. Our server 'Geoffrey' was quick, friendly and fun...adding to our enjoyment of our... More

On the night we visited they had live music. Our dinner was great and eating outside was nicer with the addition of live music. This place can get busy but that's the nature of taking care of your customers and getting more customers. The staff was helpful and polite. Our glasses were never empty even on a busy night. Everything... More

So not a full big review since we only went here for a snack before heading to some awesome music at Tiny's (see review). Got here around 4PM on a Sunday and it was still quite busy (they have music here too from 12 - 3 on Sundays). We got sat immediately (bar was full!) -- and service was friendly... More

We came here around 9:30 on a Sunday night and had a seat outside. There was live music playing and a bit of a sprinkle, but we got a table under the tin roof. Our server was very knowledgable about the menu and drinks, and very friendly. We even got to talking to a few of the servers that weren't... More

We Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We dined indoors due to the temp outside but they had entertainment outside and were quite full. Nice Quaint eatery

This was a nice pleasant surprise in Santa Fe. You could dine indoors or outdoors. Even though the temperature was in the mid to upper 80s during the day, the humidity was quite low. The food was delicious and the service was great. But, you had better not be on a diet because the portions are huge. The flavor is... More
