We loved this place! Our server was perfect, friendly, attentive and he gave us good recommendations. All we had was delicious, even the desserts. Will definitely come back again!

El Meson has a nice ambience, great service and delicious food. We had several tapas and split a salad. All were delicious. The bill was under $60 with drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant. I'm still thinking about the meal. We ate in the dining room. The bar also has seating for meals and live music.

This was our favorite restaurant during our trip to Santa Fe, and we found that Santa Fe had a lot of excellent restaurants. We went on a Friday evening and opted to sit at the bar. We were SO glad we chose the bar side of the restaurant because they had the best jazz band playing that night. The bartender... More

Having only been in New Mexico for a few days and new to American southern style cuisine we were a little weary in booking a restaurant. Meals we have had so far we laden with beans, chilli, and cheese. This restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. The food was very authentic tapas and beautifully cooked and presented. The wine list... More

By far, we had the best Server. He was so patient as we were traveling with a 9 month old and this is a very nice restaurant. We went for tapas and desert arriving as they opened for dinner. We had a lovely time and when it was time to leave, it was pouring rain.....they let our driver pull right... More

We had 8:00 reservations. There was tango dancing going on in the bar but we elected to eat in the restaurant part - less noisy. Seating was prompt, tapas selection was quite large with some daily specials plus several different kinds of paella for either 2 or groups. Spanish wine selection was also very good and reasonable (for a restaurant).... More

El Meson was quite a pleasant for us, two couples, visiting Santa Fe. The food was good and legitimately Spanish beyond expectations. The entertainment, a guitar player, while we dined was good. We suggest doing as we did, and they do in Spain, and enjoyed so much, We ordered three rounds of tapa. Each person ordered one tapa for the... More

Stopped there for Tappas and wine so can't say much about the main menu. The Tappa selection was impressive. We had a special green chili dish ( hatch chili season) and the steamed mussels. Both were excellent and reasonably priced. The wine selection was good. Spanish wines $8-$12. The service we impeccable.

The restaurant is in a nice location and have a decent selection of tapas options. The service was very friendly. They also have a separate bar section where flamenco and live music is performed.
