From making our reservations...to arriving...to eating...to listening to live music....this was a most excellent experience. All of the staff attending to us were very happy. The atmosphere is very alive and electric. The tappas and wine were suberb. This is our second visit and we will definitely be back again.

Arrived early to sit in the bar area for a dinner on my own. Only a couple of other table occupied at the time although all had reserved signs on them for 7:30. Gazpacho great start. Goat cheese, heirloom tomato and basil plated very nice. Thinly sliced ham and fig was a nice exploration but I expected a little more... More

If you are in Santa Fe on a Friday night you must go and hear the great jazz. Tapas is also delicious. Sit at bar if possible

This was a great find. I love the concept of tapas and this restaurant was as authentic as I’ve experienced. We didn’t recognize any of the wine so we asked our waiter for suggestions. He didn’t fail us. The lamb was especially good and we also had the jamon iberico. Additionally, we asked for some cheese to finish our wine... More

This could be a very good restaurant. The Tapas are unique and good. Service is excellent, but the noise is overwhelming. You cannot hear your dinner partner. Spoils the entire evening. Would not go back just because of the noise.

This is an excellent restaurant with an unusual menu based on regional foods of Spain. We have dined here regularly for a number of years, and always enjoy the food and the outstanding service. The last time we were there we saw some ominous changes: the menu had been reduced substantially, and there were some non-Spanish things on the menu... More

We visited a party of 4 , on a Friday there was no music , however this was not our reason for going .We could not get a reservation in La Boca the other Tapas place in Santa Fe and this was recommended by our concierge at the Hotel . Service was superb , and most helpful ,the portions were... More

Came for the live music (bossa nova) which we really enjoyed but the food was only so so. We recommend drinking beer or wine where you can see the bottle being opened as all the other spirits seem to be watered down. Disappointing on that front.

We loved this place! Our server was perfect, friendly, attentive and he gave us good recommendations. All we had was delicious, even the desserts. Will definitely come back again!

El Meson has a nice ambience, great service and delicious food. We had several tapas and split a salad. All were delicious. The bill was under $60 with drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant. I'm still thinking about the meal. We ate in the dining room. The bar also has seating for meals and live music.
