We wanted an authentic Spanish style restaurant and El Meson was delightful. Our server was perfect...the wine selection was good..there are tapas to choose from or entrees if you prefer. The 3 tapas we picked arrived nicely cooked and very attractively presented. Good portions too. A soup we ordered came steamy and well seasoned. A very nice evening in a... More

Have been to El Meson quite a few times and I am always impressed with food and staff. The paella is fantastic and Chef David always has wonderful unique specials nightly. We always end with a nice port and head out out for a nice stroll around the Plaza,

My son and I were looking for some live music to enjoy on our recent vacation. We enjoyed listening to the piano and trumpet jazz duo who were playing the evening we were at El Meson. We had drinks, and the service was excellent.

This out of the way place on Airport Blvd is locally owned. Plenty of parking. Good coffee. And lots of locals.

Too many delicious choices on the menu to cover in one visit. Went with the paella mariscos and it was delicious. Garlic shrimp tapas made a nice starter.

We visited both rooms this trip and each in turn were lovely. Had dinner in the main dining room and had just a few tapas for a lite dinner. Each plate was wonderful. We then moved to the tapas room for desert and coffee and enjoyed the jazz trio. All in all a lovely evening.

Hard to describe just how fine this is. The Jamon Iberco is unique, so smooth, and with a taste simply not duplicated. The eggplant is splendid (I know, this is a peculiar reaction, but true). The morcillo sausage was delightful as well. Wonderful service as well. We also had the dulce de leche cheesecake which was specially made by the... More

This is for the tapas bar not the restaurant. Tapas almost as good as the most excellent La Boca, but a really cheerful, festive bar. Not cheek to jowl like la Boca. Price wasn't half bad, considering. Excellent service. A locals scene. With "regulars" there on a Friday night, jazz night. Tuesday night is tango night. Restaurant looked a bit... More

The three of us ordered 9 dishes: tomato soup special, beet/kale salad, special soup of the day, eggplant French fires, breaded fried artichokes, lamb kebab, tuna empanada, chicken with chili, stuffed pequillo pepper. The tuna empanada was my least favorite, it was only very good. The others were all excellent to outstanding. Highly recommend this place.

We went here for Tapas and entertainment and weren't disappointed at all. We weren't familiar with the Spanish vineyards and our server was extremely knowledgeable and made a wonderful recommendation. We discovered he'd worked there 6 years which says a lot about an establishment in that industry keeping good people around. It was a 2-pc ensemble that entertained that night... More
