One of the hidden treasures of Santa Fe. Friendliest staff around. I'm not sure this restaurant is still in business at the Sanbusco location because the building was closed. If it is still open make sure you check it out!

You place your order at a counter and it is freshly prepared. The ingredients are quality and the food is very tasty!!! This is homemade but still fast. Try the omelets which are so yummy. The homemade pastries are excellent. The food is like eating at someone's home. The salads are dressed and tossed upon order. Really pretty amazing for... More

Easy parking in the downtown area which is a plus in its self. The food is good if not fancy. I prefer good over fancy any day. Beware they will be moving to a new location next April.

This used to be a pretty good little place. There used to be an enthusiastic lunch crowd! A good casual cafe with quality food and friendly service. Little of that can be found now. Service is slow and diminutive, albeit apologetic. We had to send chips and guacamole back. Stale chips and the guacamole was literally a green salsa with... More

My husband and I were visiting the rail yard area of Santa Fe after checking out the Saturday morning Farmer's Market and wanted to get a late breakfast/early lunch. Since we were inside the Sanbusco Mall, El Tesoro Cafe was a great choice for us. This is a small cafe with seating outside the cafe in the mall. The mall... More

We visited the Sanbusco Market Center in Santa Fe while down at the Railyard since it is a couple of blocks away. I looked up places to eat before we left and found good reviews for El Tesoro Cafe. We both had the El Salvadorian type tamal and enchilada with green sauce. By the time we went, my friend was... More

This Salvadorean food is wonderful. For about $10 you can get the choice of the menu. It is unpretentious and straight forward but the food you get would cost 3 or 4 times as much elsewhere.

El Tesoro is located in Santa Fe's most upscale mall, Sanbusco, which lost its anchor store but still seems to be doing well. For service, you go up to the counter and order; they bring your order to your table. You are sitting in the corridor of the mall, but a few feet up, and it is surprisingly pleasant. It... More

When visiting Santa fe recently, we decided to go to one of out favorite places to eat breakfast years ago when we lived here. The food use to be great! The food was still not to bad, but not like we remember. The portions are smaller and the staff was not as friendly. This little mall use to be hopping... More

The breakfast here is very good & reasonably priced. We were able to get one breakfast taco for $2.00.
