This was a must stop for us for breakfast recently. I had a short stack of the piñon pancakes. They are huge and needless to say I couldn't finish them. Delicious. Staff was friendly and very attentive. This was also our first visit to the new location. It is a lot larger, nicely laid out and plenty of parking. Glad... More

The other day I enjoyed a really nice Mediterranean Salad which was the special of the day at Tecolote. Just wasn't in the mood for chile I guess. Just ask your server.

Breakfast unbelievably good. Very friendly waitstaff and greeter. This is truly a 5 star in a city filled with chef owned restaurants, family owned and operated, and knocks one out of the ballpark! Try the bakery basket. Our favorite was the blue corn chile cornbread muffin. We had Bill's Omelet and Breakfast Burrito. A moderately priced meal. This is a... More

We don't go here often enough. Great food, fast and friendly service. They are open for breakfast and lunch and close at 2:00. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing! I looked for months to find incredible New Mexican food. Finally! I ate at the counter to observe all the busy-ness. Emelio treated me as though I had a private table. The Carne' Adovada in my ginormous burrito was far from canned tasting, and more than a modest portion. The fried potatoes reminded me of grandpa's in upper Michigan...... More

Atole Pinon is the menu name for some of the best pancakes you will ever try! They are not your Mama's Pancakes but still excellent. Everything is good here and they can now hold the crowds since they moved to a larger/newer location. Did I mention their great bread basket that comes with most breakfasts? Yummy!!! Every time I'm near... More

Great breakfasts - Try the breakfast burrito or huevos rancheros or pancakes and don't forget the muffin/biscuit basket. Service is friendly & fast and the prices reasonable.

Tecolote Cafe was started in 1980 by Bill and Alice Jennison with a desire to feed guests great meals, affordably, with superior service. Mr. Bill and Alice's recipes have been pleasing palettes for 31 years. In May of 2010, sadly, we lost Mr. Bill after a long and accomplished life. Since August 2010, Katherine Adkins (Bill and Alice's daughter) and her husband Matt Adkins have been doing their best to honor Mr. Bill and Ms. Alice's vision in carrying on the family business We offer a varied menu focusing primarily on New Mexican breakfast and lunch cuisine, as well as some American favorites. We bake all of our breads in house as well as our muffins and biscuits contained in our bakery basket. A little known secret to our great burgers? Fresh baked Kaiser rolls to vehicle our superb patties and ingredients. Whether you come for breakfast or lunch, we are sure you will be pleased with our delectable choices and our warm, friendly atmosphere. If you aren't, just let us know so we can make your experience everything you hoped for!Katie and I can't wait to see you on your next visit. So, come on in, and remember, we serve "Great breakfast, No toast!", just for you.
