Another New Mexican restaurant, another great meal. Arrived at La Choza, dropped off my wife to get our name in and I looked for a place to park. Their small lot was full, but I found a spot across the street when someone left the restaurant. After finding my wife I discovered there was a 45-50 minutes wait - at... More

What a delicious meal at La Choza! The food was some of the best Mexican/New Mexican Food that I have ever eaten. The red chile sauce on the chicken taquitos and the posole were outstanding. Great Margarita selection, too. Sitting outdoors was a fun and romantic touch.

I live in Santa Fe.My first visit to this restaurant. My guest is also New Mexican... therefore accustomed to Chile. She specifically asked for mild..which was Green. That accompanied her Blue Corn Vegetable Enchilada. It was so hot she was unable to eat most of it. My salad..with walnuts was mediocre and the awful cold piece of garlic bread was drenched in oil,...hard... More

We wanted to sample local Santa Fe lunch cuisine while getting a light lunch so dropped by La Choza. My wife and I split an order of green child chicken nachos. It was giant! In fact we couldn't eat it all. Don't miss this place.

I had the chile rellano with green chilies and my friend had enchiladas. Very delicious New Mex, hot initially but no long linger and no hot sneaky up on you; just wonderful complex flavors. Atmosphere is nice with 2 patio serving areas as well as inside seating and a bar. This was recommended by the vrbo.com condo owner. Yummy!

We were promptly seated in the bar area and the bartender was our server. We ordered a bottle of wine, mushroom soup, and a chicken quesadilla to share. The wine and soup promptly arrived and the soup was outstanding. Then came the interminable wait for the quesadilla. 45 minutes passed and the bartender came and apologized because of "large parties"... More

Great first taste of southwest flavor. Our waiter was extremely helpful with our too hot concern coming from the Midwest. Delicious dinner. Chalupa, taquitos and enchiladas were awesome.

I arranged a golf outing for our group from Pueblo Country Club, and made reservations at several restaurants. LaChoza was our Friday night dinner after a great round of golf. Our group os 12 were seated in the outside seating area, very comfortable and away from the very noisy inside restaurant. Not bad loud, just bustling fun loud. Everyone ordered... More

While visiting friends in Santa Fe, they took us to La Choza. We sat in the outdoor patio and everything was excellent--value, service, and food. We will eat here again when we visit the area. My wife and I had the enchilada/chile relleno plate. I had mine with Red only and my wife had the Green and Red (called Christmas).

Really busy and crowded and the majority of the crowd seemed to be local. Very friendly. ended up eating at the bar. Drinks were great (and strong.) The traditional New Mexico dishes were outstanding. Would make a special trip here during any Santa Fe visit.

Thank wyb
