Marisco's La Playa is one of the most consistent restaurants in Santa Fe. Years of visits have resulted in exactly Zero bad experiences and many, many fine meals. Our most recent visit, a quick family treat dinner was on a busy Saturday night. No problem. The line moved fast, we were seated in a comfy booth and drink orders taken... More

Marisco's La Playa Restaurant is a tiny restaurant hidden in a shopping area on West Cordiva Road in Santa Fe. But the seafood dishes are the best I ever had anywhere. I am not a big fish eater because just broiled, grilled with no sauce just doesn't do it for me. But, Marisco's has unique sauces and cooking methods that... More

We really enjoyed our lunch here...fresh, delicious food, friendly service, colorful setting and mostly Latino crowd (couples, families, friends & local workers) dining happily ;) Our server, 'Gloria', even remembered us from years ago & welcomed our return. My seafood 'cocktail Gloria grande' (shrimp, oysters, scallops, octopus, avocado in a tall 'sundae' glass w/spicy sauce) was terrific; her 'Mar y... More

My friends to me here for what proved to be a very tasty and satisfying lunch. To begin I enjoyed some nacho chips with three different dips... one bean and two salsas and good guacamole. For main I had a mix fish grill with rice, It was served fast, was tasty and the portion was big... I took home enough... More

It all appears to be authentic. Until you order fish tacos. Tiny fried cubes of ome unknown fish. I have travel from Baja to Oaxaca..from Veracruz to Merida..and never been served this crap. Not authentic by any stretch of the imagination.

This restaurant serves a variety of seafood, all tasty. Thespcae is relatively small, with tables and booths. The furniture is the carved and brightly painted kind found in many Mexican restaurants. They served a green sauce with onions for dipping. Excellent. The Camarones (shrimp) Santa Fe was served in a sauce of cream and mushrooms. Mixed with rice it made... More

I might have reviewed this restaurant in years past because we've eaten there for many years. It's still good. The shrimp cocktail is a "must". Even the "chico" size is generous with shrimp. After you've tasted the distinctive sauce and the garnish of chopped avocados, cucumbers and other veggies, you will be spoiled; the familiar ketchup-based shrimp cocktail will never... More

The fish soup was superb with lots of fish and shrimp. The salsas were very interesting, one with cream and avocado was so different and good. Finally, the shrimp ceviche and the santa fe shrimp (in a sauce with green chili sauce and cream) were to die for. Not a big place, but a definite place to go for authentic... More

We found this small restaurant in 2013 and made a point of returning this year (March 2016). We had the civiche shrimp, which was excellent. The reason we returned was the best pico de gallo we have had outside of Mexico. Nice people and good service.

We had a wonderful meal at Marisco's recently. I have to admit that I was a little concerned as it's in a strip mall---but the food was more than delicious and the service was extremely friendly. It seems to be a family run establishment. I had the shrimp enchiladas which were delicious, and we enjoyed home made flan for dessert.... More
