We went there on a recommendation from a friend. As I told .Y family it wasn't fancy at all. But the food was some of the best we've had in Santa Fe. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and helpful.

Working for the week nearby, so this was the only place to lunch without driving. Very good- pretty much everything I tried, and decent value. Very throw-away approach, but it is a fast food-like place.
We are on vacation and came to this place. It's really nice on the inside. The tacos taste really good. Everything is served in to go boxes though. I found that sort of odd. The prices should be cheaper if I'm getting it in a to go box. Worth the stop for sure. The tacos were great.
So, it was a lazy Friday afternoon and we were bound and determined to swing by the Santa Fe Brewing Company for a beer sampler. The problem? No food at the tasting room. The solution? ¡El Parasol! El Parasol’s Santa Fe south location is buried in an industrial park south of the interstate. Which, by the way, is convenient if... More
My husband and I stop here often as my sister lives near. We love that the food is fresh and extremely tasty. We both LOVE the carne guisada burrito with Pico de gallo...amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband usually orders two ... that good. Don't forget to grab a biscochito if they have them on the counter they are also super good!!
El Parasol has been a family mainstay for years, stopping in the older locations in Española for Tacos and Burritos. In and out in 5 - 10 minutes. Consistan And yet. The Dinosaur Trail restaurant is consistant at being slower that molasses. I went in today with a friend to grab a couple of tacos. You know quick in quick... More
We stopped by to pick up takeout for lunch. You order at the counter and can sit inside the restaurant or outside in the shaded (north-facing) patio. I had the Carne Guisada (shredded beef) and my wife had the Pork and Avocado Burritos. Both were very large and very good. I also tried the Las Brazas (sirloin strip) Taco. It... More
This is a relatively cheap, authentic and delicious New Mexican place on the south side of town. They have a smallish seating area (maybe room for 40 people inside, 15-20 outside) and it is packed at lunch time. Many people just order takeout. My favorites are the chicken tacos and breakfast burritos, while my wife loves the carne guisada burrito... More
El Parasol restaurants in the area are very good, but this one always seems to go overboard on the salt. Like way too much salt almost every time. Otherwise, the service and food are very good. Highly recommend the breakfast burritos, chicharron burritos and the calabacitas burritos. The chicken and guacamole tacos are awesome. Prices are a little high for... More
Google map found this place for me as it was close to where I was staying. Had Carne Adovada burrito smothered in chile sauce. Pork was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Quality tortilla and chile sauce. I will be back and often.
