Great stop for lunch, enjoyed the tapas. I had a steak and potato tapa. The steak was tender and juicy, and just the right portion for a light lunch. I would order this again. My fiord had the kale salad, and that was delicious as well. They served fresh bread with olive oil dip. We ate indoors, near the outdoor... More

We came here looking for music and hoping for some light fare as we had a late lunch. I believe the group was The Dudes and they were billed as blues, rock. They also played some surf music. The restaurant was closing and we couldn't even get a piece of bread, but they did bring us water. It was a... More

El Farol on Canyon Road amidst the many art galleries. Good Spanish food with good service. A solid "B" Nice atmosphere for casual dining. Food is priced for fine dining, but does not quite come up to that standard.

Our family reunion group of 20 people had a fantastic experience at El Farol recently. It's the best deal in town with a choice of 5 delicious tapas (unlimited portions) for only $35 per person. Our waiter Kai took care of us effortlessly and made sure everything was well taken care of. The drinks and food were all excellent, especially... More

The patio dining was lovely and our tacos delicious. We had a great lunch and loved the proximity to all the galleries and shops lining Canyon Road.

Stopped here for happy hour. We had a cheese plate and a few empanadas. The food was good and the drink service was better. The atmosphere was enjoyable. I'll go back next time we're in town for dinner.

The service and drinks were excellent. The food was just okay. The meats were over cooked and the patata bravas mention nothing about chile but come with a very spicy red chile sauce. I was unable to eat them. The artichokes were very good. My husband had the paella and the rice was well cooked, but again, the meat and... More

The show was fantastic. All of the performers were awesome. They were captivating the entire time. You will have to make reservations to see the show and the area where the show was being held was packed every table was utilized. With that said our server was everywhere. Service wasn't great. I had to ask for 4 times for water... More

One of oldest bar restaurants in SF. Has great reputation and it really didn't disappoint. Food and service were very good. A little high end on the price side, but worth the experience. Varied menu.....
