We picked this place because we read that Robert Redford went here a few times and wanted to trt it out. Husband & I went to dinner on a Sunday night. Our waitress was Jessica - Amazing very Good service! You get chips and salsa right way. BUT the salsa was so hot/spicy you couldn't even taste the tortilla chip!!... More

I never come to Santa Fe without dinner at Maria's. Come early to lessen your wait. And have a margarita while you are waiting! IF you can make your choice from their long list of offerings. Everything is wonderful at Maria's, right down to the last sopapilla. This is traditional New Mexican fare at its' best, for years and years.... More

This restaurant enoys a great reputation with locls and visitors alike. Yet it failed to really deliver. The shrimp enchilada was flavorless with very small shrimp. The adobada was a little too spicy. The sopapillas was more like bread than the flaky treat usually found. The service was slow and we waited 15 minutes for a check. In its favor,... More

We walked in on a very quiet weeknight off season on the early side, and had the restaurant to ourselves. The only thing I didn't like was that we were seated in the rear dining room - a little bland. Next time, I'll sit in one of the other rooms, or at/near the bar. Still - service was good, cocktails... More

We had dinner here with another couple last week. I really appreciated that we could make a reservation and were able to be seated while many patrons were waiting. Our group had the Blue Corn Enchiladas, Burrito Grande, and the Don Pedro Grande. They were all great, but I would recommend the Don Pedro because you get to taste so... More

Maria's used to be our favorite Mexican restaurant in Santa Fe, so we were excited about going back. We couldn't believe how much downhill it has gone. I was going to have a combination fajitas, but waiter said I could only choose one kind. I settled for steak & it was tough, not as good as some other Mexican restaurants... More

This was one of the best meals we had in Santa Fe. We went for lunch and were glad we did. The margarita list is tremendous, and the drinks we ordered packed a wallop. The margaritas, interestingly, are all made with lemon juice, not lime. The enchiladas were excellent too. All in all the authenticity of this restaurant was highly... More

Worst Taco that I have ever had, nasty taste and totally bland. They do not use chili powder in the taco meat!!! Chips were tough. Salsa was ok. The beans and rice were also bland. I will not return.

No, it's not in the touristy Plaza, but it was wonderful, traditional New Mexican food. I ordered a pork dish that was out of this world. There is an enormous margarita list to choose from, it was not all crowded - we preferred the room to the right as you enter - it has a bit more ambiance, complete with... More
