The TripAdvisor reviews seem to be mixed, so maybe they have good and bad days, but when we went for dinner the food was excellent. It might have been that we were on the early side for dinner (around 5 PM), maybe during peak times the quality suffers. I had the burrito with grilled pork and green chile and I... More

Local hang for non tourist scene. I found the food to be so-so with a common Mexican menu. People do love it, I'm just not one of them. It's tucked in behind a back of building parking lot just east of the plaza. An easy walk. Interior is boring. Yawn.

I expected great food and had one of the worst dinners of my life. I love mexican food and will eat most anything but this was terrible. My 'çarnitas' were actually beef fajitas that were cooked in a some kind of broth. They were overcooked, cardboard-y texture with some mushy mushrooms, onions and red peppers in it. The salmon was... The food is great. The atmosphere is wonderful. A converted house, or at least it looks like a converted house. We had lunch. Lamb tacos, seafood, apps--all very good. Since it is in the Plaza, the price, apparently needs to be a little higher than if it were out a mile or so. Also, the parking is horrible!

Near the town center but located behind street-facing buildings, we had a reasonably-priced, delicious dinner with wine in their slightly noisy dining room. Plenty of off-street parking. This was recommended to us by a former Santa Fe resident, and we now understand why.

You'll go by it a million times but won't see it in the alley. I think it's worth the stop, you can park, it's not overly busy. Food was good, but not oh wow good. Their margaritas are wine based, so there might not be more than a beer wine lcence but I'm not sure. Never got chips and Salsa... More

We tried this restaurant because of trip-advisor recommendations. We loved our meal. The place is a short walk from the Plaza in Santa Fe, but well worth it. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was unbelievable. The salsa, margaritas and entrees are all fantastic.

Thanks Tripadvisor! Pretty basic Mexican food but with a real fresh twist. The components shine through. The salsas were really delicious but the best was the Posole Verde! It was an "appetizer" but from the first bite I wish I had ordered it has my dinner.

The bride and I stopped in for a mid-day snack. We only ordered the chips and salsa and the queso fundido. We also had a round of Dos Equis and a second round of Santa Fe Nut Brown Ale. The salsas were tasty (fresh green tomatillo and a red chile arbol), very fresh and zesty, with thick and crunchy tortilla... More

Our chosen restaurant was booked solid so a google search helped us find "Mucho Gusto". The reviews were generally favorable so we secured reservations and made our way there. It is more than a little tricky to find and parking is at a premium so early as we were we were just in time. The ambience is very close and... More
