My group of four students and two faculty members ate here twice during our time in Santa Fe. Ordering is at the counter and food is brought to the table. There are a variety of pizzas to suit any taste, including the option to select toppings to create one's own pizza. They have a variety of salads, as well. The... More

This place was recommended to us. Excellent choice especially in a sea of Southwest cuisine. We got the lunch special. Small pizza, salad and drink for $11.50. Great deal. We ordered different pizzas so we could try them. Waitstaff was great and helpful. Ordered Molta Carne and Campagnola. Both very good. Substituted green chilies for olives. The salad was one... We went to dinner here because it was an easy walk across the street from the Hilton. The crust is my favorite part. It's chewy, but crunchy too. The pizza itself can be a little dry, But at least it's not greasy. My chef husband isn't a fan and called it expensive cardboard pizza, but all the rest of us... More

Always a great place to eat. Upon this occasion it was perfect for lunch for our two jet lagged European visitors. Pizza, calzones and salad were perfect for an afternoon in downtown Santa Fe. Good beer and wine selections. Friendly and courteous always.

You stand in a line to order your pizza and by the time that your food is ordered they have a table ready for you. Be prepared to stand in line and wait 30 + minutes to order. That's the only downside, but the pizza is great the atmosphere is lovely. I'm a fan and would eat here again!

The pizza was good but not "over the top" like you would expect from a wood oven. But it was a nice restaurant catering to families and tourists. We would definitely eat here again.

Food is very, very good. Atmosphere is relaxed and casual. You place your order when you first come into the restaurant and you pay prior to choosing your table. Service is efficient as well as polite. To restate, food is tasty, delicious and fresh. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Very family friendly.

We were visiting from Detroit and looking for a decent pizza place. Heard a bit about Il Vicino and gave it a try. Not bad but we are spoiled with the real Italian places in Motown so this place was so-so. Don't think you can find a great pizza place in the Southwest..better off eating Mexican foods which are much... More

This is a friendly restaurant with prices that are good for families and friends. The atmosphere is ok, nothing special but the food is real good and the service is excellent, both with ordering, service and bussing tables. My wife and I were able to share a large pizza, (3 slices apiece) a large spinach salad and two glasses of... More

We have several favorite Mexican food places in Santa Fe, but sometimes you want something different. Our daughter first brought me to Il Vacino's a few years ago and it has become one of my favorite places to eat in Santa Fe. Great pizza. Will definitely return and recommend this location.
