We decided on this place because we heard they had a good burger....and they absolutely do. The burger was tender and delicious, and they have many options for patty sizes and toppings. Their homemade chips make an excellent side. They also have a decent kids menu. Their menu is not huge, their thing seems to be burgers and their is... More

We are newly transplanted to Santa Fe so we're making an effort to try a lot of different restaurants. While the staff was courteous and efficient the food was just so so. We had breakfast and honestly I'd say it was mediocre in quality. Not great coffee and my husband's toast looked like it had been resurrected from the day... More

We thought we could put charges on our hotel but it is a separate entity. There is a 20%discount for breakfast for hotel guests. Service is excellent, food tasty and well served.

Holy cow was that the burger I've ever had! My daughter and I stopped here on our last day per a suggestion from our concierge. This should 100% be one of your food stops while in Santa Fe!

Formerly known as the Bobcat Bite at another location in the city, the owners John and Bonnie Eckre have kept the tradition alive. Located in an old 50's style motel the restaurant itself reminds you of a Route 66 diner. We were greeted right away by owner Bonnie who made sure we were provided excellent service throughout our meal. Of... More

Great atmosphere, fantastic burgers. We visited here based on reviews and we were not disappointed. Our family would recommend this as a stopover in Sante Fe.

Description
The Famous Green Chile Cheeseburgers are back! John and Bonnie Eckre, formerly of Bobcat Bite, are taking their food to the next level at the new Santa Fe Bite located inside Garrett's Desert Inn on Old Santa Fe Trail. In addition to their savory Green Chile Cheeseburgers, Santa Fe Bite features fresh tacos, fish and chips, sandwiches, a choice of French or sweet potato fries and a little something they like to call 'The Big Bite' that comes with a side of buttery garlic bread. Creamy milkshakes and homemade lemonade are just some of the sweet treats popping up on their new menu. Also, we are now serving beer and wine. Santa Fe Bite opens at 8am Saturday and Sunday which means early birds can sample tasty Breakfast menu offerings like hot cornmeal pancakes with maple syrup, brioche French toast with maple caramel sauce and house-made biscuits with Mom's gravy. Spend a leisurely Sunday outside at Santa Fe Bite. The new Brunch menu includes eggs benedict, Steak & Eggs and Huevos Rancheros.
