We stopped here for a late lunch on our way to Colorado. Enjoyed the good New Mexican food and attentive service.

Of course we could not go in to dine due to COVID. I ordered chalupas it was not what I expected. It was a hard tasteless corn shell with a bland bean filling and over cooked jack cheese with hot shredded lettuce. the added chicken...had no flavor. It was like expecting Italian food and getting spaghetti O's. I had heard so much about Santa Fe's pride in flavorful cuisine. I was expecting more!!!! The Shell gas station down from my hotel had great fresh steak and chicken fajita burritos. So I will just eat there again.More

Every year or two, we road trip from California to Texas. When we pass through New Mexico, we try to grab Mexican food--so different from TexMex and CaliMex. This was our first trip to Tomasita's, and it won't be our last. Food was fresh and...tasty, and portions were generous. The chips, queso and guacamole made for a strong start. We both had carne adovada, which was spicy and full of flavor, and there was enough left over for a second full meal. We got our food to go, so can't comment on decor or service. Can't wait for our next visit.More

A very dissapointing dinner. We can get Mexican food like this anywhere and expected something much more local and original. Service was slow. Insufficient gas heaters for patio dining. Margaritas average at best

Growing up in San Diego, I am pretty familiar with mexican food and I thought Tomasita's was good or about average. But those white puffy things they give you before your meal - the stuff they serve with honey butter? Those things.... my goodness -...are AMAZING! The waitress was kind enough to offer us a couple more with our left-over box. AMore

Thank you for your review. They are called Sopaipillas. Also, note that we do not serve Mexican food - we serve the *New Mexican* food, as in the traditional cuisine of Northern New Mexico. As we say, it's not new, and it's not Mexico. :-)

This was our first restaurant we visited. They serve true New Mexican cuisine! So much flavor and so good! Even the sopapilla was delicious!

The food and drinks at Toatsitas's were exceptional. We ordered three different types of margaritas, and they were all really good. The food and service were both outstanding, as well. Would highly recommend this restaurant when you're in Santa Fe.

I walked to Tomasita's from central Santa Fe area -- just 10-15 minutes. I had a wonderful lunch of Carne Adovado with a delicious sopapilla. Service was pleasant.

Delicious Mexican and New Mexican cuisine. There is a bottle of agave syrup and honey butter to go with your free basket of sopasillas (Kinda like a puffy, square New Mexican croissant.)
