We always go here when in Santa Fe. Just love their Swirl Margaritas. Their food is also really good. Guacamole is excellent!

We absolutely love having lunch or dinner at Tomasita's! Fast service, friendly staff, and the best food every time! I love their stuffed sopapillas! They include sopapillas for desert too! Just love it! Wouldn't be a trip to Santa Fe without eating here!

Really enjoyed the food here. The ambiance is the southwestern's answer to Shari's. And that's not meant to be a negative, just to build the appropriate expectation. The servers are personable and efficient. The sopappia's were light and airy, not too greasy. I ordered the Chile Rellenos and really liked them. They were poblano chiles with a little cheese and... While you don't receive the basket of corn chips and salsas, as we do in the South, the great tasting Mexican flavors of the Quesadilla, the Huevos Rancheros, and the Mexican Plate were quite filling without chips and salsa. For dessert we enjoyed the Piñon Cheese Cake. We left very pleased with our choice of restaurant as it is uniquely... More

I moved away from Santa Fe 30 years ago but everytime I come back to visit I have to stop by Tomasita's and have the green chile roast beef burritos quite addictive and yummy! If you are visiting from out of state be sure to ask how hot the chili is that day. The setting for the restaurant is an... More

This place is a favourite with locals as well as tourists. During the summer months it is such a hopping place that I just ordered take out because the wait time for a table was so long. That is the only reason it gets a start rating. If you are there on Friday or Saturday you MUST try the frijoles... More

Had been walking all day and came in right before closing. Staff were friendly and prompt. Veggie quesadilla was wonderful; the beans great. . My husband told the waiter he liked Tex-Mex and they brought a tamale, enchilada. taco, cheese taco, guacamole, rice and refried beans. Of course it is Santa Fe so he was also served green chilies, Very... More

Description
Tomasita's restaurant is a Santa Fe tradition serving classic Northern New Mexican cuisine. Stop by today for an unforgettable meal! Locally owned and operated in Santa Fe, NM, we take great pride in our high quality food, friendly and fast service, and of course our famous margaritas! Locals have consistently voted us as the premier restaurant for Best Red Chile, Best Green Chile, Best Margaritas, and Best New Mexican Restaurant! Our chiles are out of this world and you won't regret ordering either - or both! Tomasita's is a distinctly Northern New Mexican restaurant. Our recipes have been handed down for generation and serve as a reminder of the melding of cultures that together once depended on the corn, chile, beans, and fruit of the area. Since 1974, the Maryol/Gundrey family has maintained a commitment to the recipes and ingredients of New Mexico. Join us for lunch, dinner, or happy hour and try our traditional recipes with amazing flavor. Don't forget to top off your meal with a homemade dessert - sopapillas anyone
