The service was fantastic. Too bad I can't say the same about their food. I honestly felt like everything we got tasted bland. I've tried Mexican food at different states and I have to say this has been the worst. The prices are good and so is their service. But the food can use some improvement.

My husband and I visited on a Tuesday evening about 6pm. We were seated right away. We shared the 1/2 liter house margaritas which were very good but not strong. I had the pork tamale plate with red sauce which came with a cheese enchilada in green chile sauce, rice, and beans. It was more food than I could eat!... More

This has been a favorite of our family for many years. Having grown up in Santa Fe, there are many places we love to eat when we go back to visit. Tomasita's is always a must. Food is great. We love the stuffed sopapillas--try the roast beef with "Christmas" (red and green chili). Service is fast, but most likely you... More

They have wonderful food for everyone's taste. They also have great drinks; margaritas, sangria, or a combination of both called a swirl. Yum!! We enjoy going to Tomasita's!

For authentic New Mexican (not Mexican! Not TexMex!) this place is pretty darn good. Often a long line but the food and the all female mariachi band every Tuesday (they played at our wedding) make this worth the wait. A good hangout for locals and a real treat for tourists.

Service was OK as well as the food. The green chili is favorable and not too hot for this Gringo. The red chili was very bland.

We have traveled yearly to Santa Fe and lunch at Tomasita's is a must. They have excellent chili rellenos, tamales, enchiladas...and, of course, Margaritas. There is always a line and a wait, but it is well worth it.

This is the pinnacle of Mexican food! I have NEVER tasted better. Imagine tamales loaded with pulled pork! Imagine burritos smothered with green chili (made from Hatch green chilis grown locally)! Imagine sopapillas that come with your meal and they are big, pillowey things that you dribble with honey! This place is Heaven to my tongue!

Large, popular restaurant near the railway district. Offers traditional New Mexican fare. It's considered among the best in Santa Fe. It is pretty good. Despite the crowd, we were seated in 15 minutes. We sat near the bar, which was noisy (blender). Wish we could have been in one of the more attractive rooms, but we didn't have time to... More

We had heard from a friend that this is "the best Mexican food restaurant in Santa Fe", but to us, it was fairly ordinary. Not sure if it was an off day, if our order didn't take advantage of their cuisine, or if we have been spoiled ;) but we did not see a reason to return. In addition, we... More

Tomasita's restaurant is a Santa Fe tradition serving classic Northern New Mexican cuisine. Stop by today for an unforgettable meal! Locally owned and operated in Santa Fe, NM, we take great pride in our high quality food, friendly and fast service, and of course our famous margaritas! Locals have consistently voted us as the premier restaurant for Best Red Chile, Best Green Chile, Best Margaritas, and Best New Mexican Restaurant! Our chiles are out of this world and you won't regret ordering either - or both! Tomasita's is a distinctly Northern New Mexican restaurant. Our recipes have been handed down for generation and serve as a reminder of the melding of cultures that together once depended on the corn, chile, beans, and fruit of the area. Since 1974, the Maryol/Gundrey family has maintained a commitment to the recipes and ingredients of New Mexico. Join us for lunch, dinner, or happy hour and try our traditional recipes with amazing flavor. Don't forget to top off your meal with a homemade dessert - sopapillas anyone
