One of our favorites. Delicious food. This location is takeout and have a drive-up window for pickup.

El Parasol has the best take-out! We loved the pork and chicken tacos. The beans and rice are flavorful and fresh. When in Santa Fe, try El Parasol, you will be glad you did. They are open for carry-out during Covid.

My husband and I have ordered burritos to go here for years. Today we had the veggie burrito and the chorizo burrito with green chili. My veggie burrito was mostly egg and potato. It had a little bit of cheese and green chili. I was...very disappointed. My husband complained that his burrito didn't taste like they used to either. I don't know if they have changed their recipes or what but I will try another Mexican restaurant for burritos in the future.More

The staff are very rude and unfriendly. The food used to be good so I tolerated them but look at how small the chicken tamale is (by the way, that's a standard size fork)... it's a disgrace to all tamales. You're better off getting the...ones from Costco and that's a step up from this sorry excuse. Keep your money and go elsewhere. Ohhhh and the chicken was so dry, I almost choked on it. If you do get this, make sure you have something to chase it down.More

Great place to pop in for lunch on the go. Extensive menu of simple fare such as burritos and tacos plus soups. Busy at lunchtime and food is prepared when you order so there can be a wait. Flavorful and filling!

We've been coming to (and thru) Santa Fe every year and sometimes multiple times a year, and there is always one consistent element about our travel... we will always pick up food from El Parasol! This location is most often the one we will hit,...often coupled with a stay at the El Rey Court which is across the street. We love everything El Parasol makes, and it is wonderful authentic food. Yes, I get it, I know this is a fast food place - but its so good it is a must stop for us, and when we aren't near Santa Fe... yes, we're always thinking about it. No seating in this location, which is just fine - get your food and go!More

These are old fashioned tacos which are cooked in the shells, when I was a child I could get them at the El Paso train station , on my way to Arizona. The shells are sometimes a little greasy, but hot and the shreaded beef...and guacamole tacos are really tasty. I live in Santa Fe and eat them regularly . The sauce that comes with them (separately) is excellent.. but maybe too hot for some.More

A great place to stop for a quick take up. Breakfast taco is great as are the tamales. Take out is quick and efficient.

El Parasol is a group of restaurants with a history that spans decades. Originally a taco stand with an umbrella, then a restaurant (El Paragua) the family returned to its roots with El Parasol. While El Paragua still operates in Espanola, El Parasol locations are...run by family members and the food is simply among the best of its kind. e had the Carne Adovada burritos, they were tamed down a bit from the original El Paragua recipe but very flavorful non the less. Need food in a hurry, this is the place to stop.More

Wanted real tamales so we drove to this location - scary part of town an d told from behind the iron bars on the drive through that all orders must be called in prior to arrival so we called it in from the parking lot....Tacos shells seemed stale and tamales were to spicy for my but my wife loved them.More
