We travel a lot. Australia , South America , the Far East , Canada and , many , many times America. We ended up in Santa Fe on a friends recommendation. The town wasn't for us , but this restaurant was worth the visit in itself. My husband had Oysters , followed by rack of lamb- superb! The lamb was... More
The Thanksgiving menu offered two selections for each course. The food and service were perfect; the atmosphere relaxed and pleasant. All four of us agreed that it was a wonderful, festive holiday dinner.
We were five people dining for a special occasion. The waiter, Alan, kept rudely interrupting our conversation. Then he tried to steer us toward the most expensive wine on the menu. He made a nasty comment when we chose a less expensive wine and said "what do you expect for $30". When one of our party asked for a steak... More
We went to this restaurant with 7 other friends. Fortunately we had seen the menu prior to visiting. We knew the prices were high and were ready for them. What we weren't expecting was the small amount of food for the price. We had a great time visiting with our friends. Overall the company was great but just not too... More
Just off the beaten tourist path is the 315 (the restaurant's name is its address on the Old Santa Fe Trail), a charming restaurant with an interesting menu and full bar. Frequented by locals, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Service is attentive without being pushy and the food is most enjoyable. You will find New Mexico flair and traditional... More
The freshness and quality of the food was exquisite. We enjoyed the special pappardelle and veal scallopini. The service was friendly and excellent. We took our time and were treated royally. If you want a neighborhood place with incredible food and fabulous wine choices this is the place in Santa Fe.
315 is one of our usual stops when visiting Santa Fe. This time we were left wanting. The foie gras was delicious, the lamb delicious, the mussels disappointed. They were under cooked, the sauce lacked flavor and the frites tasteless. The dining experience was uninspiring and left us disappointed in a cool Sunday evening.
We were a group of 8 visiting Santa Fe for a long weekend. We were excited about our reservation at 315 based upon the reviews we had read but unfortunately our dinner did not live up to all that we had hoped it would be. The first clue was when we were giving our order at 8:30 in the evening... More
A different nearby restaurant was recommended but the wait was 20 minutes. We walked on and ate at this restaurant and enjoyed it so much. The food and service were excellent despite every table taken.
