It was quit a time since my last visit. But a I could spent my money somewhere else!. The menu has been the same for the last couple of years, and the food was nothing this side of good, and to top that, the service was terrible.

Quaint, dimly lit restaurant, very cozy and romantic - fabulous bolonese, gnocchi. Interesting menu- will try the squid ink pasta next visit! Can't wait to go back!

We had a lovely meal at Il Platto Italian Farmhouse Kitchen. My husband had the trout dish and he really enjoyed it. I had the mixed greens salad and the appetizer portion of the spaghetti. The Bolognese sauce on the pasta was meaty and well seasoned. I appreciated the fact that I could order the full dinner portion or the... More

Jan. 6, 2017 Sergio was our server and he was great! very attentive to our question...I like this...I like it when the server knows how the food is prepared and what goes in the food one wants to order. The calamari was grilled, not fried and it came at the end of a large plate where a sauce made of... More

Our waiter was a ski instructor. He was very friendly and talked to us about skiing. The food is great. A little pricey. But worth it!!! The downtown area is worth walking around. You must take time to drive downtown at night and eat some great Italian food.

We had dinner there December 22, well into the holiday rush, and the place was crowded and the staff a bit overwhelmed. Nevertheless, the service was as good as one can expect during such a rush, and the food was excellent. I had the best Minestrone soup I have ever tasted (it definitely had a Southwest flair, no doubt with... More

Despite the town being quite busy and most restaurant packed, we scored a luck 7:30 pm reservation at Il Piatto based on a solid recommendation from the concierge at the Inn of the Anasazi. Loved our meal and the atmosphere at the restaurant. Highly recommend this to other visitors and residents. Nicely busy but did not feel cramped or rushed... More

We had planned on eating lunch at La Boca (Spanish tapas restaurant) but they were full so we stopped in at Il Piatto. We ordered tomato and mozzarella which was great and served untraditionally with shaved Parmesan and peppers. We also ordered a Prosciutto Pizza which we did not love the Prosciutto was overlooked. The Chicken Parmesan and chicken fingers... More

Christmas night meal. Staff seemed a bit overtired. Accommodating yet missing that special service experience. The food was OK. The pasta was not good- duck pappardelle, the roast chicken was good, Caesar salad nice yet was expecting more from the food. Just beer and wine available not cocktails and would skip dessert not that great.

Reviews of this restaurant are all over the map but the idea of Italian suited us and I appreciate booking online through Open Table. Accommodating staff even though we changed time of our reservation at last minute. Lively ambiance but at our front window table still quiet enough for conversation. Nice wine list by the glass (we drink different wines).... More
