We began with the adovada egg roll with peanut dipping sauce. These were excellent and huge almost a meal in itself. The Pho bowl duck broth base was a bit thick with undercooked noodles. The added pork meats were tasty yet clashed with the broth. We dove into the BLT served with perfect fried potatoes. The BLT was tasty but over the top. Cutting the pork patty in half might balance the flavors a bit.
Sitting after the meal we concluded that everything is prepared very well but the portions are out of balance or just way too much over flooding the palate without any subtlety.

Saw it on DD&D. Little place in a strip mall. Just my style.
Stopped in for dinner. We were the only people sitting in the place. So, we got to chat with the staff a bit. Super nice, attentive crew. They were doing a good bit of take out; and several regulars came in while we were there.
And I know why they’re regulars. The food ROCKS!
My wife got the garden salad with fish. Super fresh veggies with just the right amount of dressing, and fish that was cooked perfectly.
I got the Cuban and Patatas Bravas. This was probably the best Cuban I’ve ever had; and it took a back seat to the potatoes! Just crazy good!
If I lived in Santa Fe, I’d be in this place once a week just for the potatoes!
Ya gotta try this place!

During the 5 years we've been visiting Santa Fe, we often come here because it is next to where we always stay (Silver Saddle). And each time, it seems to get a little better, although the food was rather good even the first time we ate here. This time-- the homemade onion rings for an appetizer (the only mild complaint, there could be a few more offered), the pizza margherita, and bread pudding. Killer good, all of them. The atmosphere has calmed down too ... well, it has a bit. We'll be eating here next time we're in town ... guarantee it.

First trip to Santa Fe and we're avid Triple D watchers so we checked out the show with the Bad Ass BLT and decided we had to get it. From the moment you pull up, it's a trashy strip mall. Then the restaurant wasn't really super clean or inviting when you walked in. There were only 2 people we saw working so service was slow. The Bad Ass wasn't as good as what we saw, not even close. The bacon burger is good, not great. The lettuce was limp. The tomato was sliced so thin you could barely see it. The bun is good but dry. And you're paying $17 a la carte for it (we wanted onion rings but they were out). All in all a disappointing experience :-(

Ok food, nothing special. My husband had the Bad Ass BLT and he said it was good. I wanted a pizza but they weren’t serving it that day because of only one cook. The chicken enchiladas with green Chili’s was bad, it had what looked like cream corn in it. Disappointing after driving 2hrs. I guess being on DDD doesn’t guarantee good food. The couple next to us didn’t finish their food and told us it was dry meat.

We ate here after Meow Wolf and it was great for a vegan, vegetarian and picky 9yo. Very nice menu for everyone. Busy but great friendly staff. I did a lot of research on restaurants before going to Santa Fe and was very surprised at how many restaurants cater to vegans. Also discovered many Diners, Dives & Drive-throughs in Santa Fe and every one we tried, like this one was outstanding!! This restaurant had amazing fresh produce. The tomatoes were gorgeous!!

The actual restaurant is awesome but also go 5 stores down to the Butcher Shop and try some incredible sandwiches. The wife and I ate there yesterday and the Rubin is still the best in town and you get either Corn beef or pastrami. The rye bread they bake there is to die for as are the homemade French fries. My wife had a special which was a Bratwurst sandwich, also superb. Sit at the small counter, watch Gabe a real butcher do his magic. Take home some great meats (bone in ribeye for dinner tonight). Lunch only, 11-4PM.

I have thoroughly enjoyed eating here several times in the past years. I will likely not return after being there on a Sunday this month. I stood in the doorway, as the sign said "wait to be seated." I was ignored until I stopped the waiter and asked if I could sit down.. it was not busy. Very loud, screaming heavy-metal music continuously.. I ordered veggie egg rolls and was given rolls that were completely meat - no apologies for that. The fish tostada was stunning. I wish I'd taken a photo... not all of the advertised ingredients. Beans, chunks of undercooked, completely plain fish covered w/ a huge mound of runny, tasteless coleslaw. The cook obviously had no pride or interest in his job, or else lacked the skills. I threw away more than 1/2 of the meal.
This is a real shame for Santa Fe. The chef and previous staff I experienced were skilled and happy.

This place is amazing-went there based on Trip Advisor listing only and wasn’t disappointed. Everything is freshly made including the sandwich bread and corn chips. Pulled pork sandwich was delicious and kids loved the think crust cheese pizza . Service was casual and friendly. Nothing is from a can or microwaved-all fresh farm to table food and priced right. Will definitely return.

My review on the pizza is based solely on me being a thick crust fan. Before we left on our road trip I looked up the best pizza in each state. This place came up for New Mexico. It had a good flavor but it was light on toppings. The rest of the food we ordered for the group was very delicious. The staff went way out of their way to make us feel welcome.

As I parked near this restaurant, I noticed quite a few homeless people meandering around its corner and the parking lot. From the restaurant, I could keep an eye on my vehicle while waiting for the food to be served. Everything turned out alright, but my protection instinct kicked in when I noticed so many homeless people and I could never completely relax while at Dr. Field Goods.
I had perused their online menu before coming here because 1- I knew I would be short on time as I was heading to the theater, and 2 – I just like to get an unhurriedly feel for a new menu. Well, it didn’t pan out because several items listed on-line (from beverages to food) were not on the menu at the restaurant. I asked the waiter if he was aware of that, and he said yes. Why post an online menu that is not accurate?
Ended up having the Pizza de Gallo which was delicious although a tad overcooked and the bread pudding which was also delicious but the bottom ½” was burnt and dried up. It looked like they were training someone at the time so maybe the new cook didn’t quite have the full understanding of the oven’s very high heat.
Service was adequate but I was there very early and there were no other customers yet. Presentation was good. Neighborhood a little iffy. Please update your online menu to represent what you are really serving, don’t give people false hopes. Great potential but sadly needs to get better at this point in time.

Somewhat disappointed since this was a Diner Drive-in and Dives place. Service was pleasant and prices were fair, but the food was not any thing special. It wasn’t bad just average. Didn’t try the pizza- we had the Shrimp Tacos and New Mexican pulled-pork sandwich. The shrimp tacos didn’t have much taste after you got past the very spicy aioli that was used and the pulled pork was tender but lacked any smoke flavor. The potatoes on the side were okay but would have preferred just regular fries.

Food was really good but one of the main reasons we went was the carne adovada and they were sold out. It happens so the family ordered something different. Vegetable egg rolls were great!

Saw this place on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives, it was recommended by some locals. First, the strip mall it's in is rundown and trashy. I think they were trying to close early because they turned three parties away after we arrived. We started with Carne adovada egg rolls which were good. My husband ordered the bacon patty burger featured on food network. It was dry and lacking flavor. The kale salad was decent but nothing I couldn't have easily made at home. We just expected more. Too bad.

The service is fine. The food is overpriced and not that good. I had a six dollar cup of green Chile pork stew.that had a lot of fat and potatoes. The rest of the group was not impressed with the enchiladas or pizza. We left most of it behind.
