We had a great lunch here. A good choice of salads, sandwiches or other dishes. I ordered fried calamari and salad which was delicious.

Tired of New Mexican? Is it possible? If yes, and you are after a delicious meal in pleasant surroundings, head for the Midtown Bistro. The halibut is fresh and expertly prepared, as are the side dishes. Attentive service. We had the Toffee dessert, don't recall the exact name, but the recipe was original and it was luscious.

We have been to Midtown Bistro several times (at least) for brunch, lunch, dinner and special occasions and have never been disappointed. Our favorite is probably the weekend brunch when, in the summer before the day heats up we can sit on the surprisingly cool and pleasant patio with burbling stone fountains provided by the neighboring Santa Fe Stoneworks. The... More

The patio is set just outside a company that specializes in rock fountains. Several of the fountains are in the patio area of this restaurant which makes the patio enchanting. They have a very good menu from specialty salads to NM Cuisine. The prices are in the midrange and it is a marvelous place to unwind and enjoy your company.... More

The food was excellent, as was the wine. The server was knowledgeable and attentive. We really enjoyed the meal. However this place has an older clientele and is a ghost town after 9 am. We would have liked to stay longer but we were the last clients in the house at 9:45 on a Friday night and felt slight pressure... More

We had lunch here and everything was great - the ambiance outdoors (nice tree-shaded outdoor area with umbrellas for each table), the service (friendly and professional) and the food. We began our meal with the avocado and cucumber gazpacho (delicious with just the right amount of spice). My wife then had the crab cakes (among the best she's had) while... More

Had lunch yesterday and sat outside by choice. Patio tables are shielded from sun by large umbrellas. This is third time to dine here and it is a delightful experience. Tables inside and outside are covered with white tablecloths. I enjoyed a pork tenderloin sandwich with Gruyere cheese and homemade potato chips . Tasty-- as was my wife's chicken-avocado sandwich.... More

We went for lunch and sat outside in the beautiful weather (plenty of shade umbrellas). The patio is in a rock garden with water features. Peaceful. Everybody liked their food: grilled steak salad over living watercress, Cobb salad and crabcakes. I'll go again.

It is great that there is a good place to eat in this neighborhood. It's nice not having to be along Canyon Road or downtown. There is a very substantial al fresco section for convivial and non hurried eating, which would be an understatement just to call it very pleasant. The vibe of the outdoor section was permeated with "local... More

Excellent experience. Wait staff was fabulous, we never had to ask for anything! Food not only was beautifully presented but exceeded our expectations. Great for business and a dinner date.
