Years ago, we used to stop here for lunch on our way to Taos. We were quite pleased. Being in this area again, we have lived lunched here twice in the last week. On the first visit, I had the Carne Adovada and my wife the Enchiladas. Spectacular. The Carne Adovada, if you don't know, is a unique, spicy dish... More

Decided to check this place out even though I couldn't find a breakfast menu online. They have extensive choices for breakfast and it was delicious! I love the beans... really well done and flavorful for a simple side.

Stopped in as we had stayed at the Pecos Trail Inn before and walked over and were very happy with the food and service. this time both were off quite a bit. the food was average at best and maybe not that for Santa Fe and Taos. We had tamales, enchilada's, and tacos. Last time they had been great along... More

We tried this Cafe for lunch and split a Cheeseburger with cheese, bacon and green chili. We requested medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The fries were crispy and golden. The buns were grilled and wonderful. We couldn't finish all the food, too full, lol. We would have given 5 stars, but felt the food and drinks were a... More

My husband and I continue to come to the Pecos Trail Cafe ... breakfast AND dinner. Love this place for the FOOD, service, price and ambiance. The owner is so gracious and an amazing chef. You will be well cared for here. I have had most everything on the menu and nothing is below a 5 star from me. My... More

My husband and I first stumbled across the Pecos Trail Inn a few years ago when we were driving in from I-25 as we were staying on that side of town. It is a family owned restaurant with affordable food, incredible service, and authentic New Mexican food. This past September we went there again, even though we were staying northwest... More

We read the reviews and were very excited to try Pecos Trail Cafe since we live near there. The waiter was great, the owner stopped buy but we felt the food was lacking. Maybe we should have tried the Mexican dishes - they looked good but we tried soup and burger - which were average.

My husband and I discovered this local gem through a gift certificate from a family friend. He goes here all the time. We decided to give it a try and we can't quit coming back. The first visit was breakfast. I had the huevos rancheros. They were awesome. The red chile here is fabulous. The owner also makes a secret... More

We live in Santa Fe and have always been curious about this restaurant. We both had excellent food. The portions are really generous and the prices are very reasonable. The ingredients were fresh and the chile is the real deal!!
