Good. I'm not a dark chocolate fan but I still found something I liked. Great dark chocolate selection. Wonderful hot chocolate. MORE like pure liquid chocolate.

The elixirs of hot chocolate produced at this little shop have become a must have in my life! Kakawa sell mixes to take home. What could be better than hot chili in hot chocolate?

...you'll love this place. This small little shop in the heart of Santa Fe is SO good. The chocolate is ridiculously rich, smooth, and warming to any chocolate lovers heart. It took serious effort to leave this place once I entered its chocolate confines. Yum.

This is such a gem of a place! Hot chocolate to suit every taste, from sweet to bitter. Staff were so friendly and let us sample lots of hot chocolates until we found one we wanted. Great selection of truffles too, with some really interesting and exotic flavours, though I still liked the salted caramel the best. Wish it wasn't... More

The Kakawa Chocolate House is an pleasant place to sit down and take a delicious break before strolling Canyon road. Everything we sampled was extraordinary including the drinking chocolates, candies, macaroon, and brownie.

A must-visit if you're ever in Santa Fe. I was walking to Canyon Road from my hotel and just walked in to check it out. The very friendly young girl behind the counter offered me a free sample of the 'American' and I thought I had died and gone to chocolate heaven! I dragged my husband back the next day... More

Stopped by on the way back to Albuquerque after a morning shopping in Santa Fe. The service was helpful and there are many choices! The prices are reasonable for gourmet chocolate, we bought about $40 worth. I will definitely stop by again!

Went on a chocolate binge in Santa Fe, tried it from a few places. This was by far the best. We tried a few hot chocolates, the staff was very generous with the samples. However the chocolates and the brownies were my favorite. The flavones were unusual without being weird and while there were a lot of different flavors in... More

We really enjoyed this place. My wife loves chocolate and was craving ice cream. The server was real friendly and let us try some samples. My wife got the peach passion ice cream and she said it was the best she had ever had.

We stopped here at the end of a run. What a great reward for our efforts! The man behind the counter was so friendly, even though we were TECHNICALLY there before it was officially open! He encouraged us to try all of the hot cocoa flavors, and the American was like drinking liquid love. Smooth, thick, creamy, not overly sweet.... More
