Tortillas were old, charged extra for tortilla, food was not that hot, especially for a fajita dinner.

Best green chile meat loaf for some home cooking on the road; along with fresh homemade mashed potatoes; split plates were done nicely - no complaints from server; good fish and chips - a surprise in Santa Fe.

We were at the Indian Market and decided to stop in for breakfast. We had to wait about 15 minutes but it was well worth the wait. We were seated in a booth and had plenty of room. I had the country fried steak. What a platefull! I also ordered a hot cinnamon roll. I didn't leave hungry and had... More

One trick is to get here before Noon because it begins to fill then. Or wait until later. Food is good and ample. Some unique plates. Instead of having rancheros I had the eggs diverciados. You might also try the chili. Great desserts also. Green chili is standard unless you opt out. but don't.

We shared nachos and still had much left over. Portions are quite sizeable and truly delicious. Crowded and noisy, but that's part of the fun.

I love waking up to some great French toast and breakfast tacos, and it's pleasing knowing you and your husband enjoyed these two things when you last stopped by. It would be fun to see the two of you back for another delicious start to the day. Warmly, Daniel, Owner More

I'd only go the for breakfast which is great. Makes you feel like you are in a rural diner from years ago. They keep the coffee cup filled. But there are too many other better places at Santa Fe for lunch and supper.

Some people rate other Santa Fe restaurants a bit higher, but for my money, this is the best New Mexican food in town. Superb enchiladas, and all the rest. And the staff are extremely welcoming and attentive, without being intrusive. I never miss it on my annual trips to Santa Fe.

In a town that tends to be spendy, this diner/cafe located on the plaza in Santa Fe stands out. First is the first class wait staff. The don't "get your server" when you ask for something, they are all your server! A refreshing attitude. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I had the bowl of chili which was huge... More

Enjoyed the food, coffee and the view of the plaza. Chicken fried steak was perfect, bacon, eggs and toast all prepared well. Pinion pancakes were a nice surprise.

Hi, Mark. I, too, believe that a great meal is even better when enjoyed in a beautiful and amusing atmosphere. Of course, I look forward to seeing you again -- perhaps, for some more chicken fried steak, bacon, eggs, and toast. Your breakfast friend, Daniel, Owner More

The Plaza Cafe on the Santa Fe Plaza is a historic restaurant that has reopened after a fire in Sep 2010. It is the dining hub on the Plaza. It reopened last week and I would like to write a review of my experience. Joe Shaffer
