When I want NM style Mexican food at Santa fe, I go here. I often stay at the Hilton, so it's a very short walk. The red chile is great, and the green isn't bad either. The service could be better.

Top notch flavors & a pleasant atmosphere. Staff is cordial, and well behaved dogs can join their people at tables in the courtyard. Best to go earlier than later to be sure you get a seat at this popular place. Wide variety of delicious food and drink to savor!

Granted, I could have said something, but, I didn't. It starts like this. Taken to be seated and the table wasn't clean. Instead of cleaning it, I was put at a rickety table with a red plastic tablecloth under a glaring spotlight next to some machine. There were plenty of other tables open. It takes a little while for the... More

Five of us walked here from our hotel and we just loved the food. I tried the homemade sangria and it was great. The food was a little on the spicy side but so good. We split a dulce de leche slice of cake, which was fabulous, a great way to end the meal.

I wish I were more eloquent to aptly describe my meal at Casa Chimayo. It was wonderful and worth the trip to Santa Fe. Having lived in El Paso for a spell, I have high standards for my enchiladas. I ordered the "Christmas" cheese enchiladas so I could sample both their red and green sauce. Both were excellent, but I... More

We had a wonderful experience here. We got there right at 5 when they opened so it was dead and we got a beautiful seat outside in the shade. Our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful. Margarita was delicious and smooth. We both got the Blue Enchiladas which we enjoyed very much. We were told it's not Mexican food, but whatever... More

We found this place by accident but was pleasantly surprised, the food was good and apparently typical New Mexico fare. The staff was good and they are pet friendly and the service was quick. I got the blue tortilla chicken enchiladas. They were very good, but the beans and rice were so so.

We ate here for brunch on a Sunday. We got there right when they opened and were almost the only ones there. The patio was nice and the staff very friendly. The decor is fun. The food was okay. Nice crunchy bacon. The blue corn pancakes with pine nuts were pretty good. Their "pinon" coffee is terrible. It tasted like... More

We were happy to revisit Casa Chimayo - we have fond memories of our first visit shortly after we arrived in Santa Fe for our second visit. The food is good, although not high end or super spicy. Drinks are good, as is the service. Desserts vary from great to amazing.
