If it hadn't been for a local seeing us staring at GPS in front of an empty store front we never would have found this place. Good gelato at the normal outrageous price of all gelato places.

We stopped by Ecco for a late afternoon treat. The sorbets were very good, especially the cranberry orange, but the gelatos did not have very intense flavors. It was perfectly fine but really nothing special. Still looking for really good gelato in Santa Fe.

The gelato was good, but certainly not the best I've had and I was expecting better because I'd seen the name mentioned a couple places. I thought the prices were slightly high for the quality. One thing I did appreciate is that they don't just pile one flavor on top of the other, but make an effort to wedge them... More

I thought I liked this place a year ago, but something has changed - maybe me. Despite the Italian name, this is nothing like the gelato I have enjoyed in Italy - where I lived for 15 years. It is icy - more like ice milk. And the flavors are very weak. Italian gelatos have very intense flavors , but... More

We hit this joint almost every night after dinner. Great array of quality, interesting flavors. Also, amazing responsive...one night after being disappointed to find no Peppermint Gelato, I emailed the owner requesting he return it to the lineup; when I awoke the next morning, I had an email from him informing me that it would be in case that night... This is a light bright cafe close to the plaza. I can't speak to their espresso drinks; their ice tea is terrible, and this is in a town where lots of places serve really good ice tea. Their gelato is not very good. The chocolate barely tastes of chocolate. I ordered blackberry and couldn't even tell that's what it was.... More

I like their new location. Larger and cleaner. Parking is still a challenge, especially now that you can no longer park at the Library after hours. Good gelato and friendly service.

Love the new location. Created a new drink. The staff was happy to help. A scoop of hazelnut gelato in a medium cup of ice coffee. It was delicious. We called the new drink "The Padre". Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain

I tend to favor a strongly flavored gelato. I guess I'm always searching for something that matches what I first found in Florence thirty years ago, and it's not entirely fair because tastes evolve. In any event, I loved the texture of Ecco's gelato while finding the flavor just a bit light on the tongue--not quite oomphy enough for me.... More

I came for coffee with my mother-in-law and 2 small children. A good selection of wonderful flavours, beautifully presented and available in a range of sizes to suit all tastes. I really liked that they allowed multiple flavours in each cup, we all got a couple of different ones and all shared. Having WiFi issues where I was staying, I... More
