I arrived shortly before closing time and was greeted with a smile. Quick service and delicious dining followed. Enchiladas were great.

This restaurant was a little hard to find, we seen the sign from the road on the right, turning into the lot realized it was not there. It is on the left, the road through the Lowe’s parking lot. Green chili burger with fresh fries...and enchilada trio. They had just the right amount of kick. They also have some art on the walls for sale and some other items for sale.More
I had a green chile cheese burger take out. It was so juicy and delicious. The home cut fries were perfect and everything was hot. So good.
Fine little restaurant for burgers and New Mexican dishes. Busy and fun. Excellent service and reasonable prices.
We just love this small restaurant that serves great burgers and yummy New Mexican plates. It's a favorite of long time residents of Santa Fe, hungry workers at lunchtime, and travelers. Then wait staff works hard and stays pleasant and helpful. Great place.
You can order the hamburgers in different weights, which we appreciated. We started off with nachos, normally not my thing, but these used real cheese, not processed, and refried beans with toppings and were great. We had green chili cheeseburgers in the six-ounce size. The...server was attentive and friendly. The cheeseburgers were really great, obviously hand made to order. We loved the mural on the walls, painted with spray paint, we were told. We had a really enjoyable dinner in a great atmosphere. Apparently, a lot of locals eat here and we can see why.More
Had just hit town via ABQ and green chile cheeseburger was the motivating focus, grub-wise. Totally and randomly lucked out on web search, albeit a bit put off from the strip center location upon arrival, but what a crazy good surprise indeed! Absolutely killer GCCB!
A friend told us they had the best burgers in Santa Fe, so we had to try. We made our order online but I guess something went wrong with the system and it didn't go through. The nice people working that day apologized and immediately...got our order through, which we were very thankful for. Very good service! The burgers were great-definitely better than Lotaburger, 5 Guys or any other burger place we've tried in Santa Fe. The green chili cheese burger special was really affordable and delicious. Thank you!More
We had 2 hamburgers, Green Chili Cheeseburger (10oz), and Cheddar Cheeseburger with Avocado (16oz). Both were absolutely excellent, patty was succulent, homemade fries and trimmings all fresh. This place has become a Santa Fe legend and definitely deserves the accolade. We had heard the apple...pie a la mode was excellent, but burgers were so filling, we didn't order dessert (perhaps next time). Wait staff was friendly and efficient, dining room was clean and inviting, meal was served in average time. The restaurant was nearly empty, which was great as we have heard it can be very busy at times. While we were there we observed a take-out order being processed. The meals were served through a slot in the wall at the back of the dining room, narrowest slot (up & down) I have ever seen, the fat hamburgers barely slid through, interesting and efficient.More
As stated, the El Milagro is a bit hidden in a commercial area between Lowe's and the Regal Cinema movie theaters. They advertise in front that they have the best green chile cheeseburger in town so my friend and I ordered just that ... medium...rare for both of us. The place is a local gathering spot which speaks well for the clientele they drawn. The Green Chile Cheeseburger is a New Mexico favorite so if you say you have the best in town, you are giving yourself a tall order. Ours were grilled just right with lots of green chile. However, the bun needed to be toasted a bit to keep from getting too soggy by the end of the meal. If that is done, their advertising will be a bit closer to the mark.More
I stopped in solo for an early lunch after a meeting fell through. The restaurant is cozy, and the red cheese enchiladas were very good. The service was friendly and quick, and the price was reasonable too. I will definitely return with my family.
Like others, we ended up at this hidden-away restaurant by accident. In a shopping center off Cerillos Rd, it is on the back side of a bock of commercial businesses, and hidden from the street. But it is worth the stop. We can only vouch...for the $6 Green Chile Cheeseburgers and fries, that's what we had. We both had them medium rare, and they were done to order, delicious pink center, a nice large, fat patty. The Chile had the right amount of burn, good cheese, crisp veggies. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time! Yummy! The fries deserve a remark. They were long and thick and potato-ey and nearly a meal in themselves. We got our food take-out, for reasons of another deadline, but the restaurant's inside looked attractive and comfortable. The staff was helpful in getting us underway and the wait was short. Good place.More
Homemade green chili cheeseburger with character. Service was good. Prices are reasonable. Found the place by accident. I would come back again
The green chile cheeseburger is my usual go to but I decided to change it up this time. The blue corn cheese enchiladas were delicious. If you've never had the green chile before I would recommend getting it on the side. It's delicious but it's...super spicy!More
There are two thing that I find myself craving more and more each day......4 for $5 tacos or a muthahugging $6 burger. Good thing Milagros has the $6 burger. For the price some would think the ingredients would be subpar but you would be amazed....The burger is good quality both in ingredients and size. The green Chile wasn’t to hot but sure did have a great taste. The second best part of the plate is the amazing and I reiterate the word amazing then add fries. They are hand cut and cooked to perfection. If you every have a $6 dollar burger with me at Milagros, don’t fall for the, “What’s on the wall over there,” or you might lose half your fries.More
