Our favorite No. 1 daughter and her gentleman friend invited us here for dinner. Our daughter has been to Japan numerous times so her raves for this venue meant a lot. We reserved a table for 6:30 (super idea as the place is very small). After seating and ordering our drinks we were served a bowl of edemame (sp?) .... More

I'm from Seattle and am used to being able to get really good sushi, Sushi Land East is pretty good. Very small place and we were able to get a table for lunch. Extra points for having interesting things in the tempura appetizer, including green chili and seaweed. The tuna, salmon and shrimp nigiri were all good. Good service.

My husband was craving some sushi, I was just not sure but said "yes" . We walked in and boy was I surprised. small but very nice ambience. We asked to sit at the Sushi Bar and were accommodated. Very good, and enjoyable, and we were well cared for. A Lovely Sushi Experience.

This is a small restaurant, with an excellent (well-deserved) reputation, so I'd advise making reservations. My cousins had been here before and rather than order from the menu, we asked him to make us a dinner. We started with a really delicious soup--it had more body than regular miso soup, but may have been the chef's version. Then he made... More

This place had very delicious sushi at a decent price. It was my boyfriend's first sushi experience ever and he loved it! The only thing I didn't care for is that there were no drinks on tap or fountain. The setting was very cozy, perfect for a date. We'll definitely be back.

After visiting Santa Fe for five years, we finally found a sushi restaurant that's almost as good as what we have in Florida! The sushi chef makes your order right there with fresh ingredients, so you know exactly what you're getting. They also have non-sushi items, ex., bento boxes, rice bowls, etc. for the non-sushi eaters (my husband). Unfortunately, this... More

Santa Fe, having no ocean nearby and not being near a large airport like Albuquerque is, finds trouble in getting good quality sushi. This restaurant is my favorite one, though it should be noted that they have a smaller selection than some sushi places, and a lot of what they offer uses the cooked items like crab and unagi. Still,... More

I love Japanese food but, Santa Fe is not the place to eat it. If you have to eat Japanese though, this is the best quality for price. The owner is very charming and will make you anything you desire if asked. If you truly love fish, stay away from anything raw it's just not handled in transport here for... More

Of our many visits to Santa Fe this was our first visit to a sushi restaurant in that city. One doesn't normally associate sushi with the Southwest, but this was worth a try. The interior setting looked like it could have been off a street in Japan. The place is fairly small, the server friendly and the food great. My... More

Very good lunch with very fresh sushi and innovative rolls. The miso soup was thick and very flavorful. The service was a little slow but the place was packed and the waitress tried very hard to be everywhere at once! We did not mind, she was very sweet and friendly and the food was awesome! We had a little bit... More
