This tiny cafe is only slightly larger than the proprietor’s very broad smile. The warm welcome by the small staff offset the gusts of cold air which rushes in every few minutes as more people tried to gain entrance. Exercising extreme diligence, the staff keep the tables turning and the delicious food arriving quickly. The menu is not long with... More

I got the posole and it was yummy my half sandwich was ok but not my favorite. My husband was the recipient of a mistaken order so he got two orders for one. Staff was very nice and attentive.

Wanting a low-key setting that provided authentic Southwest fare, the Palacio Cafe was just the ticket. When we visit Santa Fe, we seek out local, non-chain establishments. The staff was friendly and pleasant; the atmosphere cozy and colorful; and, our entrees came with a perfect burst of flavors, textures, and color! My husband ordered their daily special: beef and bean... More

Very hole-in-the-wall style, but the specials are oh-so-good. No liquor license, but no worries. Pistoles is amazing, steak tacos are great. Locals joint, and owner knows everybody. If you want linen tablecloths or napkins, not your kind of place. Eight or nine tables, split between two-tops and four-tops.

Visited this restaurant in April 2016 and liked it so much we ate there twice. Tried to repeat the experience today. Walked in sat down and waited, ordered and then waited as two couples that walked in fifteen minutes later got served. By the way one got our lunch served to them?! We brought this to the owner's attention and... More

Small but cozy little restaurant. Loved my cheese enchiladas and even bought a jar of their freshly made green chili to go!

Three tables wide by 4 tables deep, delicious huevos rancheros and breakfast tacos. Try both red and green chilis. Friendly owners and staff. It gets busy so be prepared to enjoy the atmosphere.

I had a nice juicy burger, but the rest of my party felt the food was just okay. The staff was the friendliest in Santa Fe!
