The Hungry Clam has amazing food and they have very large portions for the price. The wait to be seated was immediate both times we went. Many choices of milkshakes and malts to choose from. The staff is very friendly and our waitress remembered from our few days from our first visit the waitress remembered that I drink coffee. They... More

We finally made our rounds to this fine little gem on our day 2. Finally, good chowder, good tarter sauce and good service. This turns out to be our favorite little spot on the island and we tried about 6 restaurants. Seems a little unclean, a little divvy and it's a 50s diner theme but the price, service and food... The fish and chips were great. Batter was just right, fish fresh and cooked perfectly, not greasy. Fries had the skins on, cooked nicely. Tartar sauce and vinegar seemed watered down. Service was a bit slow but friendly. The place was decorated like a 50s/60s diner with old records on the walls and lots of memorabilia with just enough Betty... More

Very good service, friendly people. We were party of 10, they were very patient with us and made us feel home. Retro Stle, very small place. Restroom is only after long line, just one available. Outside seating is better. Only for beers on the tap, But Good beers. We ordered, oysters sandwich, chicken sandwich, garden burger, fries, sweet potato fries,... More

We love this place for breakfast. It is right across from the ferry dock and the food is always clean and tasty.

Neat place to go have lunch with friends! And the fish was fresh and delicious, not over battered. I like the way the it is laid out, we had six people in our party and ended up having our own area to ourselves, we laugh and talk a lot!

had Brunch here my husband ordered the meat lovers omelet and he loved it. I ordered the Scallops, fires and garden salad. My scallops didn't taste like scallops or anything really, very strange! The salad was very good BUT first I had to pick out a lot of old wilted pieces of lettuce. The fries though were the absolute best... More

If you are a couple, make sure you get the half booth to the right of the door so you can watch the ferries and the people come and go. The usual offerings are available. Very fresh, good prices, bring an appetite. Excellent friendly service. Lots of locals.

We had breakfast here. It is a small place with outside seating and it is near the ferry. We sat at the bar. My husband had a bacon and cheese omelet. An omelet is an omelet. I had biscuits and gravy. I'm picky about my gravy but this was really good. The service was good and the food arrived fresh... More
