So we are in town with our adult children and grandkids. I arrive early because they say there is usually a wait. But they had a table before we were all there. We had a 7 month old and 2 year old that were running...late because they did not sleep well. We were told that they would not seat us until all arrived. I said I would check and see when the other little ones would arrive. I found out it would be a bit so I went to tell the gentleman we would wait, go ahead and let others in first. He said, it was ok and they would go ahead and seat us. We said ok, we ordered and I connected with the rest of the group to get their order. Took a few minutes to respond as they were dealing with little ones. When I added to the order for my other daughter and grand daughter we were told that was a bad thing.....we would take our table twice. They agreed and took our extra order. Server came back and said, "cooks were upset but she got them to do it." I asked if I could also get an order to go and they said no.they don't do that. The rest of the time we were treated like they were doing us a favor serving us. I get that they are busy and one of the only breakfast places around with a wait, but that does not mean it is ok to be rude. When I asked for a container to take the left overs, it was kinda dropped on the table. We were pushed to eat quickly, and then as we left, my daughter watched the served "bump" my wife in the back with a plate and another server say "clear the path". Clearly we were not wanted. I get it, we took a bit longer with 4 little ones under under 6 and 3 under 3. I did leave a tip, but only about 10%. Didn't really deserve it. They have clearly forgotten that service is part of running a restaurant. Even if they have lots of customers. Up to you if you want to go. I will not return. My family was appauled at the service too. By the way, the food was OK. Maybe the level of a national chain like Dennys.More

Is what the man leaving told us as we came in. We got a wrap and chicken fingers. All was good except when my girlfriend didn't want the bacon I told them to leave it on the side and instead they charged us for it...and didn't give her her fries. Also island prices are very obvious here.More

My husband and I had our first meal here in Friday Harbor and he loved the huevo reancheros and my veggie omelet was perfect. But, the coffee was terrible—watery and tasteless. I recommend getting coffee at one of the local coffee shops after breakfast instead.

Stopped in for breakfast before heading out on the ferry. The place was packed but the service was quick and smooth. The menu is extensive for all times of the day and our food was served hot and delicious. The portions were great and very...reasonably priced. The atmosphere matched the feel of the whole chain of islands and you felt as 'home' as you could be while away.More

This place is perfect for breakfast lovers— aka my husband! They graciously also serve lunch even during breakfast hours, which is what I ordered. Veggie burger. Great friendly and efficient staff. Huge portions and clearly a favorite because it is always packed. 👍🏼

Clean restaurant, easy to find, great staff and coffee. We ordered breakfast. Pork chop was not cooked. French toast was dried and not cooked. Eggs and hash brown were good. Free parking everywhere.

It was a nice place, but the food was terrible. At first, I thought the biscuits and gravy just had a different taste, but as I continued eating, I realized that it was burned gravy. Not only did it have a terrible burn taste, it...was lukewarm. The hashbrowns were very good though.More

Was looking for a breakfast place to eat and several locals had mentioned a lot of businesses had shut down. We were referred to this restaurant and we were very impressed. A small mom and pop with murals on the walls and really good food....The staff was very friendly!More

This small café in Friday Harbor is indeed unique. The food is very tasty and served in larger amounts for a small price. The owner is friendly and actually speaks to you as if you were a friend. The art on the walls is very...interesting and enjoyable to look at. Best of all, the food is excellent!More

Welcome Breakfast in San Juan We stayed up Spring Street at a hotel that had “breakfast” which consisted of avocado toast. Period. Found this place with good reviews. Only issue was that everyone else knows about it for breakfast and usually there is a 45...minute wait. Ours was only 10 minutes, but worth it. Good small breakfast place with typical menu of egg dishes and pancakes. All good.More

I would call them to make sure, but I don't think so. It's a breakfast place. Who makes reservations for breakfast? Go there anyway, the food is great.
