Found this cute place close to the harbor when we wanted lunch. So many restaurants not open yet due to Covid or only open week ends so we ate here twice. There are some views to the harbor. There's a bar with booths. Our wait...staff were friendly and hardworking but seemed short staffed. No hostess at entry until a server came by to seat you. We had some good fish and chips once, some tasty apps and wine as well as some great french fries. Burgers looked huge and tasty too. Covid precautions were maintained. Kudos to the staff working there as they were always friendly and tried their best to keep up with serving folks. Food was served piping hot.More

We came for lunch on a Monday afternoon, had to wait for 15 minutes. After we sat down, the waitress promptly spilled waters allover us. I felt bad for her but the whole left side of my pants was wet. We had crab cake appetizer...(ok), clam chowder (good), huevo rancheros (not the best), & prawn Mac & cheese (good.) Pretty restaurant with a nice view of the harbor.More

Ordered the pasta del mar thinking I was getting pasta with cod, shrimp, and clams in a lemon butter sauce. I get a mound of fetuccini alfredo with 4 tiny pieces of cod - dry, 4 shrimp - overcooked and tough with no sear (cocktail...sharp barely warmed up) and 4 clams and I can taste the lemon butter sauce! But it's all poured on top of the alfredo. Yuck. $30!!!More

This location appears busy for dinner and throughout the day. Surprisingly, they were slow for breakfast. We easily scored a window spot and enjoyed a leisurely quality breakfast with the best view in town

One of the very few restaurants open after 7pm on a week night. Got seated right away. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Server was attentive. View of the ferry dock and water was nice.

Bad bad service for non white customer like us. I have never written bad review on any place. Check all my reviews. But this place I need to. My daughter and I went in there for lunch. We got there at 1:29pm. Our server swing...by quickly. So I gave the order quickly. She brought back water for us and never came back. She checked on all others customers of hers. We were the only two non white customers in that restaurant. My 19 year old easy going daughter never complained about thing. We both used to serve food in restaurants. We understand the business. The server took out food to all her customer. We saw our food came out from the kitchen some times ago. It’s the cod fish taco and ahi sashimi. The server never stopped to talk to us even though we looked at her sending sign. I had to said excuse me and she didn’t even hear us just because she didn’t want to hear. I had to stand up to call her attention to ask for the food. I asked her if she put in our orders. Then she said oh food just came out. She gave us food without giving us plates. She gave out small plates to next table without asking. She was condescending after giving us food by saying “are you finally happy.” We are the easiest customer. We didn’t ask a lot. This server needs to be educated. She can’t treat non white customer who did nothing wrong to her or to the restaurant this way. She should not be in the service industry. Very sad to see discrimination is real. We never thought it would happen to us until that day.More

The Alfredo was grossly overpriced for the portion size and the person that ordered one of the portions said it didn't taste good and did not eat it. We ordered 4 burgers and only received 2 of them. Ordered a house salad and didn't receive...it. Ordered a BLT with no bacon and it arrived with bacon. Unfortunately, the food was packed in 3 bags and we didn't discover the missing food until we returned to the rental house. When I called to complain about all the errors, I was told "all we can do is make the food for you". So, we sent someone back down to the restaurant to collect the food -- which is now 40 minutes after dinner first started and everyone has disbursed to go sit around the fire. GrrrrMore

I was reluctant to try Blue Water based on the rating and reviews on Yelp. A three-star rating is usually pretty average. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish and chips. While not fancy, the scenery is great overlooking the ferry and...the food and drink are really good. The price is very reasonable.More
