The food here is reliably excellent. But reservations are recommended at peak times! Our faves are the goat sandwich (really delicious, and where else can you get a goat sandwich?) and the steak salad. They never disappoint, although the service can be spotty.

We had an overnight stop at Friday Harbor. After several days of seafood we were in search of beef. At the Cask and Schooner Public House we found beef in the form of Bavette Steak...and some libations to wash it down with. The steak was...More

The service was the best thing about this restaurant, friendly, efficient and helpful. That’s where it ended unfortunately. The food was badly prepared, the quality of the prime rib was terrible, the noise level way above normal. I would not return.

Went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the hotel managers, who said it is their favorite restaurant in Friday Harbor. Easy to see why. The food was delicious! We split the chicken sandwich and the steak salad and both were fantastic. Will definitely go...More

Had lunch here after whale watching. Nice, cozy place with great food! It’s a stone-throw from the docks, and everything else. They have some local craft beers too.

The food was OK. One person in our party did not get the correct order. It was very noisy so conversation was not easy.

The cocktails are creative, the meat pie had excellent crust. They had no problem with me ordering to take back to my hotel

Seafood was fresh, service was good. Menu is pretty basic, but they do it well. Had the Dungeness Crab Cakes and the Beet Salad. Both were pretty good. Larger venue, so finding a table is usually pretty easy (some places on the island are pretty...More

They have a large party area near the back, but I really don't think 40 is doable in that space. I think I saw a group of 10 there when I visited. can't be sure if they'd let you book the whole place though. best of luck.
