I enjoyed my food at Coho--it was creative and mostly well-executed and presented. Not the best restaurant in town (I thought Back Door Kitchen and Black Fish Bistro were better) but a solid choice. Very friendly and prompt service. Dessert was delicious!

The dinner we had at this small restaurant was easily the finest meal on the island. Great service, excellent fresh fish well prepared and seasoned to perfection.

Of the 'high end' restaurants on the island, we rate this with the top 1 or 2. Have lived here for nearly 30 years, have tried them all. The Coho's meals and presentation are all first rate - unique and nuanced. Service is attentive, and ambiance pleasant, even in a small room. We'll keep taking our special visitors here!

While I haven't had an opportunity to partake in all the dining establishments in Friday Harbor, I must emphatically report that Coho Restaurant was and is 'the bomb'! What a fabulous end to our 10 day vacation travelling in Oregon and Washington states. We were greeted with aplomb for our 5 pm dinner for two for $70. And our server,... More

We had an early dinner so we took advantage of the special. For $70 we each got fresh baked bread, a bottle of wine, a cup of delicious soup with a small salad, an entree, we had the halibut, yum, And homemade ice cream for dessert. Gourmet meal and quite a good value!

Greetings from Friday Harbor! Thank you for dining with us . We are pleased that you enjoyed your evening at Coho Restaurant. Our chef's tasting is an excellent value for those that dine in the early part of the evening, between 5 - 5:45. The $70 special includes 3 courses for 2 plus a bottle of wine. The entree choices... We had a table of 8 adults and one child - we filled a major portion of this restaurant. The food was excellent and we had a great time. The restaurant can be a bit noisy because of the size and all the hard surfaces. The full bar, wine list and menu (limited, but fabulous) gave us plenty to satisfy... More

Thank you for dining with us at Coho Retaurant and takng the time to share your experience. Coho Restaruant is a small intimate restaurant with 9 tables so on busy summer nights, the restaurant has a cozy feel, particularly if we are hosting a large party. Due to our small size, Chef maintains a select menu. This ensures that along... More

We were told it was the best on the island. Rather a let down. We are not used to being asked if we want our halibut 'pink in the middle'-instead it was overcooked and dry and I don't believe duck should be served medium rare. high priced and poor value.

For a very small restaurant (10 tables?) and a high number of servers/bussing assistants, one would think that the service at Coho would be attentive and prompt. It was not. We waited way too long for water and drinks to arrive after receiving our menus, but that was just the beginning of what became apparent to us as the norm... More

Spent 6 days in Friday Harbor and tried all the top rated restaurants and Coho was the best. Their menu is small but all the items were made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and were very tasty. The Cannelloni with lobster was the headliner. We both had the pan-seared halibut and the fish was delicious, but a little under-seasoned (for... More

A lovely small restaurant with very attentive staff. The food was good. We opted for local fish. The side dishes were less interesting. The early dinner special is a great deal. It's a small place so make reservations.

Thank you for dining with us at Coho Restaurant. We are thrilled you were able to enjoy our local bounty from the land and sea.
