This place has the most authentic Gorditas, it took me back to my days as a child in Tampico Mexico, the eggs in green sauce was just like i remembered and all the other options were delish! Very inexpensive also, a must do while at San Antonio, cant wait until they come to Austin

Wow!!! Since I lived in Coyoacan, D.F., I've not tasted such delicious Gorditas with authentic fillings. Two dozen filling choices served with Agua de Jamiaca or Horchata. Each Gordita was delicious, both the meat and vegetable choices A must do for "foodies"

The New Dona Tota on 1604 West just opened this past week, and although the restaurant is very bare as far as decor, their gorditas are excellent. We met the manager who explained that they work with dieticians who are in charge of making sure each of the fillings have only fresh and natural ingredients, nothing is artificial, no sugars,... Pleasantly surprised by the great tasting gorditas! Will come back every chance I get. Wish they had a location in Chicago area!

When I read about this place I expected like a little dive Mom & Pop restaurant. It's actually got more in common with a fast food chain than a Mom & Pop spot. But that's cool as long as the food is good. And it is. And cheap too. I was there on a Saturday night not too long before... More

We wanted fast food with the taste of home made. This place delivered! The family pack-size order was ready within 5 minutes. The price was reasonable. The gorditas tasted very good, and they have a good selection of soft drinks. They overprice the fideo (mexican noodle soup) but they made up for it with the gorditas. The food is served... More

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. The Gorditas are really good, cooked fresh. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend a visit.

I'm not a big fan of gorditas (stuffed fried corn maize), but this is really good. We go at least a couple of times a month. A great variety of flavors at a very good price. Less than $2.00 each, but stuffed and hearty. Hot sauces are delicious. Family pack is the way to go.
