This place is the bomb! It looks like an upscale Taco Bell from the outside but on the inside it is oh so different! Coachinita is fantastic (just like Mexico City) and the pastor as well. I've never seen my family fight over food as...More

I used to live in San Antonio. When I returned to San Antonio for the first time in years, I went directly to Guajillos. Still GREAT. Eat the Bistec tacos. Ask for cilantro and onion, they will bring them on the side for no extra...More

Owner and management are great (very friendly). The Tingo is my favorite. Spicy but the flavor amazing.

The seating was not that comfortable to sit and visit, but the food is Authentic Mexican food. We had the tacos al pastor, and tacos alhambre. We also had the Pina Colada which were excellent. The desert was to die for. All in all excellent....More

we don't like real spicy food but we love Mexican. The waiter suggested a couple of dishes and they were delicious. Better than most.

This place is always bustling, with good reason! The food is incredible, and not "Tex Mex" in any way. Locals in the area choose Guajillos over touristy Mexican food restaurants any day.

While in SA, I've eaten here twice already (being close to the airport helps) because they serve Mexican dishes that most other restaurants don't. The first time I ordered cochinita pibil and the next time I ordered mole verde (green mole) and I loved both....More

Really good food and not the usual Tex-Mex flavor. Great fideo! The chilaquiles are also fabulous! Once you come you will definitely be back! FYI: this restaurant in actually located in the City of Castle Hills, not San Antonio.
