This restaurant has good food, however don't order a cheeseburger. We have found in many Mexican Food Restaurants they have great cheeseburgers. This one however had no veggies, it was a frozen Patty. Stick to Mexican. Wait time was over than an hour. More than it was two years ago.

Read the reviews and make up your mine. I love anything Christmas, so the environment was a five. Food was a three. Am from Calif and I like Pepper Jack Monterey not mild Cheddar. I want red mole sauce on my enchilada, not Texas Gravy, yuck. The two taco dinner is not worth the money. The staff were very busy... More

It's a tourist trap for the unknowing. Tons of staff, great bakery, bad attitude with the wait staff. They don't check you meal before leaving the kitchen prep area, they made 4 trips to get a simple dinner right. Great family business but gone to the wayside of just hussling visitors. The bakery is outstanding.

Locally known as a tourist attraction; with it's high spirited atmosphere and adorned year around with Christmas lights and decorations, Mi Tierra is a nice place to visit and have authentic Mexican food. I recommend Caldo del Mercado (translation: Market Soup, Mi Tierra's version of chicken tortilla soup). The Mariachi Bar is a quaint little bar (located inside the restaurant)... More

My friend highly recommended this restaurant when she visited San Antonio. We went to see the Marketplace and discovered that Mi Tierra was located there. My husband and I decided to take a chance on it. The service was friendly and professional. Food was average in comparison to another Mexican restaurant we tried the day before. The atmosphere is festival... More

This resturant is well known and does a great business as far as I can tell. Stopped in for a breakfast taco and some orange juice. Taco was good BUT small and pricey, $3.25. Glass of orange juice, $3.75. Service was very slow Waitress was friendly. Might have been better if my wife and I order full breakfast. Will come... More

We spent our honeymoon in San Antonio 46 years ago and my wife was going to Mi Tierra as a child before that. We love Mi Tierra for the food and atmosphere. We go there on every trip back to San Antonio. The side walk venders and market place are like nothing else.

This has the best Mexican food around. Took three of our teenage grandkids and they enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We split three deserts between the five of us, Flan Mexican Fried Ice Cream and Tres Leches with fresh fruit. Each was better than the other.
