We went here because it was the only place that was open on the day that we were there. It was ok. Nothing special but not bad either.

The food was delicious Food! It’s a busy place, but the service and food were great! And they have homemade corn tortillas!
I didn’t like it. I thought the chili rellano I had was cold and awful . My friends told me this was the best place to go... well other people I was with had fajitas and those looked good but what I had was awful....$1 margaritas though... that’s why I’m giving 3 stars ... cause my food was junk lolMore
Very good Tex Mex. I had George’s Special which included a cheese enchilada, crispy taco, guacamole, rice and beans. The way the taco was plated soaked up a lot of the sauce and made it fall apart, but no big deal. I’m not a big...fan of the thick tortilla chips. I prefer light and crispy. If you like tortillas they are served with your meal. The service was very good although parking was challenging. The lot was full. There is a bakery at the front that you can browse while you wait for your table.More
We have traveled several years to San Antonio and have always went to Mi Tierra. This last visit was not very pleasant. The food was not very tasteful and the service was very slow. We was placed at a table and no one would come...by for a good while to take our drink order or give us chips and salsa. We finally complained and someone did come by so we could order. after our drinks was delivered no one came to check on us. the food took forever to come out and we had mixed drinks and wanted another while we waited and needless to say we did not get another cuz they closed down the bar, the waiter did not bother to tell us. very disappointing visit. probably will not go there again. too many other great Mexican food restaurants in San Antonio Texas!More
Fabulous fantastic very Immaculate with the most wonderful Goody's . Will return a million times over . Could stand the day looking and still not be able to see everything. Must see
We visited Mi Tierra at the suggestion of my brother. He travels to SA often for work, and eats here every time he's in town. The atmosphere was really festive, the service was great, and the food was fantastic. My hubby had the short ribs,...and I had the chicken tortilla soup. My mouth waters just thinking about how great they both were. This is a definite must stop if you're in SA!More
A Totally unexpected dinning experience! Even as we near the end of the pamdemic, this restaurant survives! The service is exceptional and very friendly. The food quality and presentation is superb. The Facility is emaculate and depicts an amazing cultural history. In normal times it...could easily seat 400. Even so, it is currently configured for proper social distancing and all staff are properly masked. The live mariachi music adds to the overall ambience. Realy 5 star even within the current covid restrictions.More
The food and location was a great time!! I was concerned because some of the reviews made this seem like a tourist trap but at least to me it definitely wasn't! It does get very busy but I was able to get seated quickly. This...is a must do in the area!More
Mi Tierra has been here for several years. We stopped for dinner one night while visiting San Antonio. The tortillas were delicious, rice and beans also delicious. Very fun atmosphere with music (mariachi type) guys walking around who will stop by your table. Margaritas were...very good as well.More
