Old time, long time mainstay of downtown San Antonio for delicious Mexican food. Friendly valet greeting, wide variety on the menu, excellent service, wonderful flavors. We had a large party, 18, that got seated quickly and served very well. Strolling Mariachi's are a nice touch adding an additional "flavor" to our festivities. Very enjoyable experience.

Headed out to the Historic Market to have lunch. Tried Mi Tierra as it is highly recommended on TripAdvisor. It was good. Had the carnitas tacos. Fresh tortillas were excellent. My expectations may have been a little high from all the reviews. I'll have to give it another try on a return trip. Bakery was very good!

Had heard of this place, so walked there from the River Walk (maybe 5 blocks). It was mid-afternoon, so went to the bar side and ordered margaritas in their bar. My drink was peach, and very yummy. There were lots of people buying pastries from the bakery. Didn't visit their restaurant, but it appeared quite large. Staff was friendly, and... More

Mi Tierra is the place to go for good Mexican food and Pastries. A little on the tourist side but still fun listening to the Mariachi and drinking Margaritas!!

The ambiance is nice and really festive, bakery items are delicious! But food is just ok, feel like they lost their authentication and charge too much for it

Having lived in Houston some 50 years and traveled to Mexico and Latin America a lot, rating Mi Tierra this high is a very rare rating I would give any restaurant. Mi Tierra is a very happy and very Mexican cafe with lots of lights, colors and smiling wait staff. The food is extremely good in the sense that afterwards... More

Very colorful and Mexican themed but food was only ok. I got Heuvos rancheros and the eggs were dry and overcooked with very little sauce. I used some of the salsa from the chips & salsa to moisten them. The refried beans were puréed. And the salsa itself tasted like it was from a jar. The bacon however was fabulous!!!
