We placed a to go order. Caution! We ordered 4 entrees and they only wanted to give us 2 corn tortillas, went back for more and they said they could only give us 4 tortillas. Really!?? What in the world!!?? Disappointed!

Brought a friend who was from out of town. We all loved it. I ordered puffy tacos. They came hot, fresh, and stuffed with meat and toppings. Good serving sizes. Eric was our waiter, and he was great. Wonderful personality and service.

This was a good first visit... my kids loved the chips & queso with ground beef. The restaurant is open and clean. Service was good as well. It’s worth a visit if you are in the area.

11/30/2019 came her on a recommendation while visiting San Antonio. The location is off 1604 loop and Bandera Rd. There is FREE parking. The staff and our waiter were very nice. Our glasses stayed filled. My husband ordered empanadas and queso something. I had bean...enchiladas, no cheese and no meat sauce. The food was not bad but nothing to say this is our go to Mexican restaurant. The prices are reasonable but there was a girl going around with a camera and you get a FREE photo with the Pericos advertising and then two other photos for $15 each or $20 for both. I don't mind the photo but say upfront there is a FREE one and then an option to buy. The restroom were not nasty but there were paper on the floor and could use a little attention.More

I had a family members birthday gathering here. It was very convenient. The staff worked very well with us. It was a surprise birthday. We were allowed to decorate the table, bring our own cake, they kept our other dessert in the refrigerator. We had...one waiter and he handled all of very efficiently. I think his name was Armando. Young guy but very kind and helpful; (he got a huge tip-well deserved). All the food was great.More

Visited with a group of 12 for Happy Hour. The restaurant was quite large and pleasant. We did not go to the outside patio but it looked very pleasant when not hot although they had misters. The wait staff and service were very good. It...boggles my mind that they don't write down our orders but by memory deliver everything perfectly. Since we did not order entrees, I can't comment on those, but the HH items were well received and filling, esp. the nachos. Coming from a different state, I'm still trying to adjust to Tex-Mex flavors.More

our school staff went here to celebrate the end of the year. The waiter spills a full tray of drinks down my back. He says oh I’m sorry and asks me to move down a chair. A good waiter would of got a manger to...come over and would of said heir would be no bill. Plus it would of been nice if he would of brought me a towel to dry off with. Not ours he just goes about his business and brings me the bill minus my drink! I ask for manager but still never see one. Another waiter asks me why I’m up front and wanting to see a manager. He goes to the back and says it’s taken care of. Meaning the bill but still never see a manager. Food was cold and came at different times for the party of 25More

We hadn't eaten here in some time so decided to go by with a group for HH. You can reserve on Open Table, which we did, but the table was not set up when we arrived 15 min. early but it didn't take long for...them to get it ready. The young man who brought chips and salsa was very nice and efficient and we wish he had been our actual waiter. The outside was clean but we had to ask for our table to be wiped as it had sticky residue on it. Unfortunately, our actual waiter couldn't seem to keep up with things. He kept wanting to take orders as soon as we arrived and before we had time to look at the menus. Then we had to ask for the HH menu. Then when we were ready to order he was nowhere to be found and it took a good 15 min. or more before we could get him to come back over. Everyone order something different from the four choices of $5 HH appetizers. One person ordered off the regular menu. All of the appetizers arrived timely but the other order didn't come until nearly everyone was finished eating and had already had a couple of drinks. The waiter was constantly sniffling and it took forever to get a straw and then it came unwrapped on a napkin. Then he took the empty drink glass not even asking if we'd like a refill and was off before anyone could say anything. So another wait just to get a drink. It was not very good service, but that being said, the food was all good and plentiful for the price. The Fiesta Nachos are a bed of chips with beans, American cheese, picadillo and pico de gallo on top. The Empanads were very good and come with chili conqueso to dip in. The Tacos Ricos are mini corn tortillas filled with skirt steak and chorizo. The Sopes are five thick mini corn tortilla patties topped with shredded chicken in a sauce. They weren't as good as some of the other appetizers. The tortillas were soggy and the dish didn't have much taste. For HH they have a lot of drink specials which include the house margarita for $3, domestic beer $2 and Parrot Tails $3. The drinks are lite on the liquor but still refreshing. It was almost a two hour stay there and not because of visiting. Most of the time was trying to get the waiters attention and drinks and such. By the time we left the place was quite busy but it might be awhile before we return. On a side note, the meal that didn't arrive til all were almost through was returned and the manager came over and offered it again or a drink or something but it didn't matter at that point because the waiter was the problem.More

We dined here in a Saturday evening, steered here by locals. There were pluses and minuses to the entire dining experience. Service was friendly, but somewhat lacking---water glasses weren't refilled, our server didn't remember who ordered what. But the food was good, and I was...impressed by their empanadas. The music was loud and authentic, and somewhat invasive. There is plenty of free parking and a full bar. In a city chock full of Mexican restaurants, one could do better, but one could certainly do much worse.More
