Ordered the Cajun Pasta, extra spicy. It came out mild. No spice. Cajun food is supposed to be spicy! The food is good, but please don't call it Cajun. Also overpriced. I'll stick with Sea Island.

Went for happy hour after work. Sat at bar. My husband requested Johnny Walker Black and after 15 min they told they were out. Blamed it on the recent rodeo?!?! Then we asked for Chivas and again --none!!! I had wine and my husband settled on Bacardi. We had appetizers 3 !!...the boiled shrimp with corn and potatoes, their beignet... More
First time at this restaurant. Great décor. We were seated immediately, however, we had several waiters go by, and no one stopped. Eventually, 10 minutes later we grabbed someone, a trainee no doubt, Geronimo, who was very helpful. Once we ordered food came fast and efficiently. The seafood gumbo was delicious, big chunks of seafood in the gumbo. The Salmon... More
When i travel out of San Antonio this is usually the place to hit after I've had my fill of Mexican food. The location is good and the food is also. It's a little pricey but if you like sea food its worth the stop. The place is large and clean, service is good also. The menu has many choices... More
Took my visitor from Japan out to Pappadeaux for dinner the last night in town. Near the airport, so convenient for those with an evening flight out to get some good grub before flying. Wonder food, excellent services, but also a little spendy. If you have a drink or two with lunch/dinner and leaving a 20% tip for the service,... More

We tried the alligator appetizer, since none of us had ever had it before! Tasted like chicken! We all had different entrees and everyone was very happy with what they ordered. I... More

Live a distance from this restaurant. Have to wait til we have business in SA. That happened yesterday, February 13! Plus decided to beat the Valentine rush! Been to Pappadeaux before and find it a very Good experience each time. We choose to sit at the bar and eat, you meet so many interesting people that way! Oh forgot to... More
We went early on a Friday evening and still had a wait of an hour and 15 minutes. The strawberry dacquari was good, but it better be for $10.95! I had the shrimp cocktail and shrimp brochettes and it was good. My husband had the raw oysters and then fried oysters and he said they were good. Our waiter was... More
