We came to San Antonio to celebrate my sister's 70th birthday and we picked Rosario's for a dinner. As usual, the staff was on their game and provided excellent service and the food was great as well. I could drink their Sauza by the glass!

Chips and salsa were good but the roasting of the peppers actually subdued the heat. Tacos were piping hot but generally lacked flavor. Lots better Tex Mex in San Antonio. Attentive friendly service. Fair prices.

VERY disappointed that we wasted one of our few meals in San Antonio at Rosario’s! After waiting an hour for a table, we were seated at one of the worst tables - in the back room by the bathroom hallway. Absolutely NO ambiance! Our waiter...started off good, but never checked back after delivering our food. My fajitas did not arrive “sizzling” and had very few peppers and onions. My daughter’s flautas were truly tasteless. I rarely complain to management, but I was so disappointed that I waited for over 10 minutes and no manager came to speak to me. For the life of me, I can’t understand how this place is rated so high: bad ambiance, bad service, bad food. The best part about Rosario’s is that Gus’s fried chicken is across the street - my daughter enjoyed their chicken much more!More

Highly recommended by our hotel. Hardly had to wait at all for a table. Try the mexican martini! Best we've had.

First trip to Rosario’s. WOW!!!! The food, the service, the drinks were, well, WOW! The salsa is amazing too. This is going to become a new tradition when I’m in San Antonio’s.

Lengthy wait, but worth the experience. While waiting at their well stocked bar, we a couple drinks along with an a amazing bowl of chips and salsa.. After a 45 minute wait, we realized why the place was so full. The food was exceptional as...was the service. I myself had the Enmoladas, and as a self proclaimed connoisseur of good mole, this without a doubt was the best I've ever tasted. My entire group also enjoyed their meals. .More

The absolute best Mexican food that I have ever had. Started off with Margarita"s and chips with salsa and Shrimp Nachos. Best Shrimp nachos and Margaritas for sure. Beef tacos were soft and crunchy at the same time and most delicious. Pork Tips with spicy...sauce and onions + peppers were...spicy yet most tasty. Luis V was an excellent waiter as well. Cant say enough kudo s for this meal. I wanted it to be great and it truly was! Thank you Rosario's!More

My sister-in-law raves about this restaurant so we went with high expectations Our server was really kind friendly and helpful Our food not so much My food was sweet instead of savory Our server told me beforehand and wirh the amazing salsa it made my...sweet/bland enchillada passable My daughter did not like her quesadilla - which is a dish that she eats regularly My husband's carnitas taco was weird since the carnitas did not look like carnitas It was too americanized for our tasteMore

Amazing food - we got the tortilla soup (probably the best we’ve ever had) and the Mexican enichildas, also fantastic. Staff was very friendly as well. Don’t recommend walking to this place at night though, Uber or drive.

After hearing so much I wanted to give it a try. Very disappointed. I love mole and ordered the mole enchiladas. Yuck! I've had mole at many many places and this had to be one of the worst. Way overdone with too many peanuts. Tasted...like eating a jar of Skippy with some spices in it.More

Great lunch specials. Service couldn’t have been any better, even though there was quite a crowd. Food was fantastic. Love the smoky flavored hot sauce!

I have heard such great things about this restaurant and this was actually my second time visiting so i had to write a review. First of all they use to give you chips and salsa now they have stopped doing that and charge you $1.99....I found that out after I ordered guacamole to go with my chips but to find out you don’t get the chips free anymore. They serve the guacamole on a bed of shredded lettuce so it looks like you are getting a lot of guacamole but in actuality you’re not but you are paying over $10 for it. 🤬 I ordered the enchiladas Verdes which was suppose to have chicken in them. I barely had any chicken in them but I did have some rice and beans, really? I had actually visited another Mexican restaurant the day before and ordered the same thing and my enchiladas had a bunch of chicken in them. I feel this restaurant has gotten a lot of hype for nothing, they are skimping on their food but charging top dollar. Let’s just say I won’t be going back there any time soon!More

We went to this restaurant because we saw the reviews and where happy to try this restaurant. They sat us in front of the kitchen. You see people going around the kitchen grabbing dirty plates bringing to the back then you see them going back...grabbing chips and serving you. . Then they go and swap the card of someone and go back to the chip machine to serve you more chips. Ok well next is the price of the food. You would think that for those prices you are getting a real Mexican food. We ask for a green sauce and we where told they don’t serve that souse and looked us like we where asking for some weird non Mexican. Tacos omg i was never been stuffed with so much lettuce and tomato and besides that you have to pay more for the meat you want. Is not the price is the way they serve cheap food that is greasy and has not flavor. Bad customer service, dirty place, bad food and you pay the price of cheap meal. Try different restaurants don’t let you this reviews fill you. I wouldn’t be surprise if they write they own reviews. The table behind us had the same thought as we did. Don’t be fool.More

The margaritas are the best in Texas. Fact. The enchiladas are good, but that pollo ropa sucks. Nobody likes “tough” chicken, except cowboys. The beans? Some of the best. The rice? Better gfan average. Very good. Serving sizes? Big. Chillie relleno? Not as good as...twenty years ago. Fail. Why? The breaded chillie was not fresh derp fried. They cooked a batch snd had them laying by. At 16.50 the greedy owner cannot produce fresh? Also, there used to be chunks of cut up beef. Now? Hamburger. Also. Too sweet too many raisins. Fail. Mole sauce? Very good, bitter good, it too seeet. Chips? The best, but now they charge 1.50. Used yo be free, owner got greedy. Again. Salsa. It’s a style. Burnt. I no like. Want to go back snd try rest of menu. Fi I shed with chillie rellrno! Go for happy hour!More

A local recommended Rosario’s near the river walk, unfortunately, it was closed on Sunday am when we tried to go. However, we got to the airport in San Antonio and found a Rosario’s so stopped for breakfast. Amazing! The best chorizo, egg and bean tacos!...We eat a lot of Mexican food and this placed rocked for breakfast, I believe the key was the chorizo which had fabulous flavor. Great service too.More
