Rositas has been a San Antonio Staple for Mexican food for awhile. There is a difference between Mexican Food and Tex-Mex food. This is not Tex-Mex food. San Antonians judge good Mexican food by the rice and beans just as much as the rest of the food on the plate. This place bats a home run all the time. They... More

When visiting San Antonio Rosario's is a must for authentic Mexican Food. Fresh ingredients with aromas of cumin, chilies, an cilantro your taste buds will water before you open the door. The place is loud but lively and fun. And the food is awesome. The tortilla soup is the best north of Mexico and the tortillas are always hot and... More

If you want tacos and chimichangas, this is not the place for you! However, for authentic Mexican food, try either this location or the new location on the north side. I've been to both and actually enjoy the differences between the two. Their sauce is great, with a smoky sweet tang and the chips were nice and fresh. Everyone enjoyed... More

Right after checking into our hotel Grend Hyatt I was hungry for some Mexican food. The clerk at the hotel recommend Rosaroi's. A short cab ride and we were there. In and old historic building with high ceiling's and a din of conversations because it was 12:30 lunch we were seated quickly and everything went very well. Me being a... More

Food was good , but they try to hard to create gourmet Mexican food. Texas folk know good Mexican food does not try too hard. Don't lose sight of the prize. Did enjoy the food and will go back. Drinks, another story. Too expensive for what they are. Nuff said. If you want a margarita with dinner, go for it.... More

One of my fav mexican places in San Antonio. Their new location towards north side is great too. Good food, and good music.

Food tasted bland and microwaved...just didn't have the freshness they used too. I had to add fixings to the guacamole dip to give it flavor. Environment was so loud we could not have a conversation without yelling.

Very casual. Went for a late lunch and sat right down. Very big place so plenty of seating. Full bar. Service was attentive. Had the chipotle chicken entree and it was fantastic. Some of the best table salsa I have ever had at a Mexican place. Came recommended and it did not disappoint.

I ordered the Albóndigas con Arroz – “Mexican meatballs made with a combination of ground beef, pork and herbs. Braised in a rich and spicy broth. Served with rice.” I have had Albondigas soup before and I really enjoyed it. This was not good. First off, it wasn’t a soup or stew, which is what I expected. It was meatballs... More
