My friend and I walked to Rosario's. It must be a San Antonio favorite- it was packed! We added our name to the wait list and grabbed margaritas at the bar. They were really good for house margaritas but the chips and salsa were phenomenal! The salsa is a smokey chipotle with rich flavors. The chips and salsa are bottomless!... More

We had a GREAT time!! We went in for some afternoon Margaritas. Our server was funny, quick, and knew the menu very well! I would definitely recommend this place! We live way out of town, but I would make an effort to be back that's for sure!

We read great reviews of the restaurant and did not feel misled. The restaurant does not take reservations, and parking in the area is limited mostly to street parking, but we were able to find a spot and waited about twenty minutes on a Friday evening at 7 PM to get in. The service was prompt and the server was... More

We live in Dallas. We usually go to Rosario's when visiting San Antonio. Parking is awful, just accept that. Take uber or a cab if you can. Also, wait to get a table at 7:30 or 8 pm on Friday is long. They told us 20-30 minutes. It was more like one-hour. However- we knew it was worth it and... More

Walked through the King William/Southtown neighborhood to a gem, Rosario's. We were told by several locals that this is THE restaurant in San Antonio for authentic Mexican food. No reservations so arrived early to beat the crowd, seated immediately & greeted by friendly staff. Lively but not uncomfortable, we start with draft beer, Margarita & a large guacamole. The guac... My husband and I love coming here Sunday after church. Our favorite item is their very lime-y tortilla soup. We used to get their southwest Caesar salad with it and it made the perfect lunch but, alas, they took that salad off the menu. We found a pretty good replacement, though, we split the shrimp tacos. No matter what you... More

Food was good, the wait was only 15 to 20 minutes. Prices are reasonable. The only complaint we have is the parking, we parked two blocks away besides that I would recommend it.

First time in San Antonio. This place was highly recommended not a bad wait for 25 min but the kitchen was backed up as per our waiter waited longer for the food to arrive. Didn't enjoy our meal so much they just placed our soup and appetizer on the table and in 30 seconds our main dinner arrived so we... More
