We went to the Southtown restaurant, a short stroll from our Riverwalk hotel. We knew that folks love this place, and it makes a great visual impression with lots of open space and glass, and great color and light even as you walk toward it. That sets the stage for a bustling, energetic place. We went on a Sunday night... More

He was so right. Really felt we were in Tex-Mex heaven. The drinks were good and the food was as authentic as I have ever had. No place in the north can match what they do. Highly recommend the place.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants ever! I am gluten free and so tasty. I come here every time I am in San Antonio!

I visited Rosario's my first night in San Antonio. We stayed in the hisorical district and it was a very short walk from our B and B. The food was good and the cocktails were fun...but the noise made it hard to have conversation. We had great service and the prices were in-line with a tourist area. I would recommend... More

Celebrated my bday at Rosarios Restaurant last night. I had heard great reviews and wanted to check it out for myself. The place was hopping. Everybody talking and having a good time. The smells were making me more hungry. I judge a lot of restaurants based on my first impression of smell . Especially Mexican restaurants. I am Mexican and... More

We love Tex-Mex and wanted something great off the River Walk and this place was perfect. I had the Shrimp nachos and they were delicious and my husband had one of cheese and beef enchilada specials. He said it was good but nothing special, which for him means it's pretty good. We eat a lot of Tex-Mex so sometimes it... More

We started with the small ceviche and small guacamole, both of which were plenty for 2 of us to share and both delicious. Very fresh and light. I had the shrimp tacos and my husband had pork tips in a red sauce . We enjoyed n9th of those as well. Oh, yes, and I had the prickly pear Margarita on... More

Ate here with my wife in March 2017. It is a big place and does get crowded ... we had about 45 min wait but you can add yourself to the waitlist with yelp app. Fantastic margaritas and Mexican food, We had the mixed fajitas and flautas. Service was very fast and the food came out pretty quickly considering the... More

Still one of the best in SA and the fish tacos are the bomb! Recently there on a Thursday night and as usual the place was rocking but food and service were great.

The menu options are not typical tex-mex. I visit often for lunch and dinner. Shrimp nachos, cerviche are great to start. Tortilla soup is delicious. If you want a bit more to fill you up try a Griselda taco (callehero) they come in an order of 3 but you can order one, beef are my fave. You won't go wrong... More
