I really enjoy this restaurant. I have been here several times over the last few years and the food is always fantastic. The lunch specials are a good value on their menu. I ordered the soup and enchilada combination, which came with a large cup of soup (I recommend the wonderful crema poblana), an enchilada verde (shredded chicken and cheese... More

This is THE best Mexican food yet. Have lived in Texas for forty plus years and this is the best. Wish I lived in San Antonio!

My friend and I went to lunch based on recommendation from a friend and Trip Advisor. We were disappointed. The server was terrible. Although the restaurant was not crowded, We had to almost run the server down to get silverware and chips/salsa. It was if our presence in the restaurant was a irritant to him. My friend's chicken dish was... More

I went here while in town on business. There were folks eating out on a nice, shady terrace but I elected to eat inside. The building is on several levels, so it's a cool restaurant; definitely not your "typical" tex-mex-style restaurant. The service was friendly and prompt, they serve two nice salsas, once a smokey, chipotle-style salsa, the other a... More

We went on a Friday night to have dinner with in laws and although we had to wait around 45 minutes to get a table, we really enjoyed the crunchy flautas, and the fish. It's far from touristic areas, but the flavors won't disappoint.

First it is a pretty place. It is large inside and can accommodate many people, but it is broken up, so no one single area feels too big. There is an outside patio that feels "away from it all." The décor is an elegant, old Spanish mission style. Staff are all gracious, knowledgeable, always smiling, and neat & tidy. We... More

Let me start by saying I'm a tex-mex girl. It was a beautiful restaurant. With great service. But too fancy of a menu. I like traditional San Antonio Mexican food. There were a lot of vegetarian type items on the menu. And the baked Chicken w cilantro cream sauce plate I had was really good. My sides were sautéed vegetables... More

This place has very good enchiladas. I have eaten here a number of times. The food, service, and portion sizes have been consistent. The restaurant is clean and inviting. Reservations can help offset the wait.

We dined here recently on the recommendation of dear friends. It is beautiful inside and outdoors. We chose outside as it is quieter and easier to carry on a conversation. The food was outstanding, table-side guacamole, enchiladas in mole. We had a great time with our friends. We'd go back, for sure!
