Overall, nice experience and atmosphere. My favorite dishes were the appetizers of the shrimp cocktail and ceviche; very fresh and flavorful. I would say our dinner plates were average at best tacos al pastor, enchiladas, fish, bistek, etc. with seasonings inconsistent too salty, not enough, too spicy not enough. Margaritas were flavorful, nice varierty of Tequila, Sangria tasted like cool-aid.... More

Always where we go for the most tasty chips, salsa and queso. Ceviche is excellent. The best Mexican restaurant in a town with hundreds of Mexican restaurants. Enchiladas Divorciadas delicious. Red snapper verde special a must. The outdoor seating is lovely, unless there are patrons that allow children to run amok. Kids circled our table for over an hour. Had... More

Best margarita and strong too! Yum! Their enchiladas camarones (shrimp) are wonderful! We've never had anything here that wasn't great, so try something new. You 'lol be glad you did!

This is a very nice place with indoor and outdoor seating. The wait staff are friendly and courteous. The food was delicious and authentic. I had the enchiladas mole. The mole sauce was seasoned exactly right, not too sweet and with a little spice. Overall this is a great choice for the area away from the Riverwalk.

Very good Mexican food and wonderful atmosphere here , the restaurant is well done, with outdoor seating as well. We had a good size group and everyone was happy and margaritas were delicious -- good service -- we will come back again

We were pleasantly surprised at how good this restaurant was. We generally love Tex-Mex, Southwestern, and Mexican food but truth be told, until this particular place, we didn't really have a standout experience with Tex-Mex in San Antonio. We had nachos for an appetizer and while I normally prefer the messy nachos with a lot of chips instead of the... More

Not being from Texas I was curious to know what exactly was TexMex food. I noticed there was not a burrito on the menu. My second choice was anything that included red meat. I loved the Carne Asada Tampiquena!!! 10oz rib-eye with quacamole and poco de gallo. So perfectly cooked!! The tequila menu was small but the selection was good.... More

We were a table of 7. We had to request chips and hot sauce. They brought us two sets but the table was so wide we requested another. No problem. We ordered carafes of margaritas. He poured two then left. Food came out fairly quickly. Not bad, not good. I've definitely had better. They told us when we were finished,... More

I heard that a lot of people didn't like the service..and yeah, it wasn't a five star, but hey, it was not very expensive and it had great food. The Enchiladas Divorciadas were suuuuuper delicious. No raw onions and great sauce. The Enchiladas De Mole, on the other hand, kinda tasted like ash. They were gross. Keeping it at 5/5... More

Nice place. Food fresh but lacking flavor Service was poor. Had to hunt her down to get our silverware and napkins AFTER our food was delivered. No drink refills; actually never saw her again. Had to ask another waiter for our bill. Much better food in SAT, so won't be back here.
