We asked a policeman to recommend a local place for a good burger and he sent us here and we were not disappointed!! We all had the Zinc burger and there was nothing left on anyone's plate at the end! They are SO good!!!!! And the chips/fries are amazing too. I wish this was in London!

My wife and I was visiting the San Antonio Riverwalk area to celebrate our 54th wedding anniversary and although we have visited San Antonio before we have never been to the Zinc Champagne & Wine Bar. We stopped for their happy hour and ordered off the menu. My wife ordered the infamous Crack Burger and I ordered the Shrimp and... More

They have Boudro's tableside quacamole! Cute patio and decent prices for being on the Riverwalk with good food, not typical tourist fare!

Zinc is a great place to go to get away from the touristy river walk level restaurants. Great food, and the mac and cheese is to die for! Zinc offers an amazing wine selection and the staff is great as well!

Enjoyed a nice lunch in the back courtyard of this place. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed a portobello mushroom melt that included asparagus, caramelized sweet onion and spinach -- no bread, no meat. Very nice texture and flavors. Reasonably priced.

Enjoyed the environment of Zinc. It's a bit small but the staff is friendly and the food is tasty. I loved the duck legs appetizer. The location is right on the river walk and they offer inside and outside tables. The Prickly pear cocktail was perfect!

When you are pitching a wine bar concept and appropriate cuisine everyone in the bar staff even lower level trainees should know song and verse of every bottle on your menu before getting in front of a customer. It was a slower night and i had to flag down my barman because it seemed to break time for everyone but... More

I will start by saying I usually love this place. Great table side guacamole, best in the city. The Churrasco Shrimp are to die for. Large wine list. My issue - the first of us to arrive had happy hour wine which ends at 6. Our friend arrived and order a $16 a glass wine. The pour was meager and... More

Zinc was recommended by our Concierge as a great place for drinks and good food. He was right. My wife and I enjoyed a late lunch. She had a spinach salad with accompanying goodies with a wonderful dressing. I had the daily special - a chicken breast cooked in a beure blanc sauce with capers and fresh spinach along with... Our chefs have painstakingly created a menu of wine-friendly fare consisting of old world hors d'oeuvres and regionally inspired tapas. From baked Texas goat cheese with kalamata olives to fresh chocolate covered strawberries, the menu caters to the diversity of the food enthusiasts.
Charles Court, at the rear of Zinc, is a truly serene gathering place for a rare outdoor experience. The private, spacious courtyard makes for a quiet sanctuary from the clatter of downtown city streets and the Riverwalk.
