We ate dinner here one night and it was enjoyable. There's lots of hustle and bustle and a nice upbeat atmosphere. The local beers that we tried were good as was the food.!

The ambiance, the service, the food, the wine...everything was so great at Zinc, and the only negative is that we were not aware that it was there! We travel to San Antonio once or twice each year and we love to walk and eat and enjoy the city. Zinc has a courtyard that reminded us of being in New Orleans... More

Airy, affable bar with broad American bar fare well-executed. A bit limited for table seating, the food's worth a visit if you want a pleasant time. A burger to remember, camarones on a skewer quite tasty.

I wish I could remember our servers name- Brintney? She was awesome and very attentive. I had some great shrimp, some ok crab cakes and a good guacamole. The wine selection was very good and the ambiance was just right.

Just OK, and as such over-priced. Went for lunch. Burger & Lamb burger were cooked as ordered. Service was OK, but hardly anyone else was there, so you'd expect to have good service. I won't go back because there are so many other places to try, and these guys are just another fare.

Frankly, Zinc was the first restaurant we could find open for lunch near our hotel on a Monday. It turned out be a fortunate happenstance. The staff was very friendly and the food was quite good. I recommend the Portabello Patty Melt with Parmesan Truffle Fries or the Fish and Chips. As you would expect, they also had a respectable... More

Mojito and margarita were excellent, as was the two alarm hummus. We also had the zinc burger and shrimp churrascos. Everything was prepared fresh. The lemon sauce on the rice under the shrimp was delicate. Just right. The house made ketchup for the burger fries was just spicy enough and the addition of mango purée was an unexpected delight.

We went here for dinner in November. We ate inside. The menu was small, with a nice range of options from a hamburger on up to fresh fish. We enjoyed our meal, and perhaps would have enjoyed it even more if our young waitress could keep track of orders properly and would keep in touch with us every once in... More

We had dinner ( Pasta Portofino and Lamb Pappardelle)with a wonderful bottle of white wine and molten chocolate cake for dessert. Our server, Stefany, even gave us a tour of the wine cellar, which was huge. We were so impressed with this restaurant that we came back for lunch the next day and it was as good as our dinner.... Love the atmosphere. There is inside and outside seating. The courtyard is just lovely. Great bar area but limited. If They aren't ready for you when you arrive and the bar is full go next door to the Davenport for great drinks. We ordered every appetizer on the menu. Everyone of them was delicious. Our server, Holly, kept up super... More

Description
Our chefs have painstakingly created a menu of wine-friendly fare consisting of old world hors d'oeuvres and regionally inspired tapas. From baked Texas goat cheese with kalamata olives to fresh chocolate covered strawberries, the menu caters to the diversity of the food enthusiasts.
Charles Court, at the rear of Zinc, is a truly serene gathering place for a rare outdoor experience. The private, spacious courtyard makes for a quiet sanctuary from the clatter of downtown city streets and the Riverwalk.
